Along with Forever, she also wrote a book called "Wifey" that had sex. My sister had Forever and Wifey in her nightstand.

Edited to point out that the scoliosis one was Deenie. She had to wear a brace.

My other grandmother had a collection of the trashiest books, so I would always read her Michael Korda, the Kane & Abel books, etc.

THE WESTING GAME, by Ellen Raskin. It's fairly well known, but that shouldn't dismiss its worthiness or its hipness. Synopsis. Sam Westing, the town millionaire, dies. His heirs are the 16 tenants who have all recently been sold apartments (or have leased commercial space) in a new apartment building. The heirs don't get the money though, they have to play a game. The Westing game. Great characters, great story. It's got it all.

I know there's no way in hell anyone's going to remember this, but I've been trying to find a series of books where two or three kids solve crimes, and the distinctive thing about the books is that the kids love to hang out at this movie theater that plays really awful movies all the time with ridiculous titles; things like "Frankenstein, the Harlem Globetrotters, and Frankie and Annette all go surfing." Beyond that, I don't remember anything about the books, but I'd love to re-read them. Anybody?
