You're from beef country, 1000 miles from an ocean (and a beach), and you're dissing lobster? Get yourself to Maine and eat a fresh one. (doing the same with PLF, however, is not likely to change your views).

Having already spoken to and shown your email and Anne-Marie's note to various partners, lawyers and trainees in ECC&T and IP/IT, they kindly offered to do a collection to raise the £4. I however declined their kind offer but should you feel the urgent need for the £4, it will be on my desk this afternoon.

He is right. Lobster is the single most overrated item on the face of this planet.

I've had good lobster. I'll take a Maryland blue crab instead.

Crab = underrated.

ETA: and we have about 6 beaches. I can walk to North Avenue Beach:

I like both, a lot.

I've been on a bit of an oyster kick lately.

I just realised, this may be the single most boring thing I've ever posted. I apologize. I blame it on low blood sugar. I am desperately craving butterscotch pudding.

Crab is entirely overrated. You have to spend five minutes cracking the bugger open, just to pick through the entrails to get to 1/2 oz. of meat. And after about three, your hands are so cut up and filled with the spicy salt, you'd think it's the dish they serve at Gitmo.

Crab meat may be underrated, but only if someone's picked it out for you.

I actually like working for the meat. And Old Bay on your hands is a good thing.

You're doing it wrong again.

Half the fun is eating crab at a picnic table that's been covered with newspaper, drinking keg beer from a plastic cup, and getting absolultely filthy. When I was a kid, my dad used to pick up crabs by the bushel some place in Delaware. Those were some of the best nights of my childhood, sitting in the backyard, making a mess.

Chicago White Sox designated hitter Carl Everett criticized gays, fans, Wrigley Field and other targets during an interview for the July edition of Maxim magazine, the Chicago Tribune said.

Everett said "Gays being gay is wrong. Two women can't produce a baby, two men can't produce a baby, so it's not how it's supposed to be. ... I don't believe in gay marriages. I don't believe in being gay."

"Fan is short for fanatic — he's crazy about something he really doesn't know about. And it's proven that 99 percent of baseball fans have no idea what they're watching."

Wrigley Field, the worst ballpark: "They need to implode Wrigley."

Jose Canseco is a "bitter, ignorant individual."

The congressional steroid hearings were ludicrous: "We have a war going on — I have family in that war — yet we're talking about steroids. ... If everybody in the world got on steroids, we'll still lose more kids to a war than we will from steroids."

I think maybe this guy has some issues.
Yay think? He also doesn't believe that dinosaurs once roamed the earth. He's a whack job. Red Sox nation was very happy to see him go.

You're just going for cheap shock with the inclusion of Chappelle's Show, or you have shit for brains...

But I agree with most of the rest of the list, and would add:

Austin Powers
Zoolander
Meet the Fockers
Subarus
Grey Goose
Pabst Blue Ribbon
School of Rock
Beyoncee

See if you see this 5 years AFTER they replace it with a sterile new
Place.

And NY guys- Why replace Yankee Stadium? That's a horrible idea.

2. Jack Black being Jack Black as a sub teacher. Wonderful. I don't know how anyone thought this was funny or cute. Just terrible. He was good in High Fidelity, but only b/c he was underexposed.

I used to think this but lately I really like her (as an actress - I so couldn't care about her marriage). I watched Office Space again last night and it kind of confirmed how much I like her. She's very "blank-slate" - minimal and authentic and I like looking at her.

Flavored vodka is overrated.
Creatine is also overrated.
I also think sex in weird contorted positions when you have to worry more about exerting effort to support yourself than having fun is overrated. variety for the sake of it. blah.
