It's all about local girl Storm. Who rawks, in real life. Hasn't shown anywhere near her best on Super Nova, yet.

Sigh

Another possible career opportunity for Wonk out the window.

DEAR ABBY: I am a security officer. I started this job only three weeks ago. Yesterday was pretty stressful. I kept my cool because I was dealing with explosives. After three attempts to find out what building they belonged in, this one employee told me "not to get my panties in a bunch."

I told my boss what happened and demanded an apology. It has yet to happen. I am a contract worker. Do I have a right to report this on my own? I know the name of the person who said it.

I had to go to the hospital because my blood pressure was 166/109, and I had pain in my chest and dizziness. Then I had to go back to the doctor the next day for a checkup. What are my rights? -- UNSURE OF WHAT TO DO

DEAR UNSURE: You are within your rights to report what happened, but I can't guarantee the results. However, because of your physical problems, I am recommending that you re-evaluate your career choice. Security work is often stressful, and more stress could adversely affect your health.

Beautiful Barbaro,

What courage and strength you have shown us! As a lover of horses and a big fan, I beg you, please try your best to get well and let all the wonderful people helping you make you strong. I shall light a candle and say prayers for you and your loved ones, including but not limited to a special plea to St. Francis of Assisi to protect & bless you, Barbaro, and provide you with wisdom, strength & guidance during these difficult times. Tight hugs big fella!!

I look forward to the days when you can again run through beautiful pastures without pain and suffering. Namaste!

She goes by Dilana, but she is queen of hell. She's a contestant on Rockstar Supernova.

See, I'd have just stuffed the explosives up the bitch's ass and hit the plunger. Stress relieved.

It's all about how you approach the job.

But he totally lacks charisma and sexiness (despite being good looking, he just tries too hard or something). Unlike the guy he is attempting to replace...

The "singers" this season are pretty unimpressive. And most of them lack stage presence, which does not bode well for the future of the "band".
That "band" isn't going to last more than a year anyway.

Unbelievable that they didn't let that stupid bitch Zayra go. I can barely stand her. And her screaming and jumping for what she believes is a performance was ridiculous. I feel bad for Chris, even though I didn't like him either - at least he was trying to follow instructions instead of insulting the band.

The guy I really liked last year was the skinny blonde guy who came in second. Marty. Even though he wasn't right for INXS, I would totally go see him live. Whatever happened to him?

Baby Names

Gwink, I had a similar experience, only the person who "stole" my chosen name was my own brother. I had this one particular girl name picked out, for years, because it was the name of two of my best friends from college. Then they used it, and I was pissed.

The next thing that happened was that the name instantly shot to the top of the name lists, and every other girl born in the US for about 10 years was given that name. So now there's no way in hell I would ever use it. And then, when I finally got around to having kids, I've only had two boys.

So don't spend too much time worrying about it. If you ever do have a kid, chances are a) you'll have changed your mind by then; and b) you'll have a kid of the opposite sex.

Ha. Thank you for your kind words. To be honest, I was annoyed about it for about a nanosecond (maybe longer - enough to post about it), but then the annoyance went away. The baby is very cute and actually the name suits her well - plus I have no leg to stand on, plus I doubt I'll ever have kids, so it's pretty much a non-issue. Just wanted to vent for a sec.

Oh. Was my response biting? And on a Friday? What was I thinking?

I can understand how you and Sidd might feel there is a gap to fill as "most helpless" now that paigow has left the board. We are all at you beck and call to perform internet searches and figure out how to purchase tickets to events. Nothing better to do at all.

Craigslist. Did. Not. Occur. To. Me. Yes, I am that stupid.

Trying to get tickets at the place did, but I don't feel like going all the way up there on the chance there will be some guy trying to sell some.

Perhaps you can loan me your third leg.

Just until I get back on my feet.

If he loans you his third leg, will you ever be on your feet?
