Nothing to say, I just like the subject line.
I mean, who wouldn't be?

Can this marriage be saved?

The specific notions I was citing (marriage as romantic love, singular devotion, love in eternity and monogamous fidelity) were developed (non-exclusively, of course) by the courtly love traditions of medieval European Christendom.
The versions we see in ancient and non-Western sources had a different take on the "you're my soul mate; we were born to be together" bullshit. For example, we now read the great love stories of the Hebrew Bible through the prism of this tradition, but marriage was less about supposedly passionate infatuation for them than it is for us.
I think these notions do need some degree of religious underpinning to exist. Even atheists have to resort to recockulous religious and spiritual metaphors to describe romantic love.

I know. I make that point because I agree with it.

give copies of the tape to your friends/allies and tell them if you don't come back in 24 hours to go round up everyone on the tape?

No Use Suing Over Spilt Milk
This is just not right. A travesty of justice if you will!
What has society come to?~? This poor hardworking gal goes back to work after having a baby and has to put up with this, plus, it has always been my experience that you have to pay extra for milk, and this hoser was getting it for free.
Talk about looking a gift cow in the teat!
I'll keep y'all abreast of this situation.

Anybody have any advice on how I can keep myself safe from the crazy homophobes who I filmed protesting this weekend? Apparently they are...perturbed with me, they know who I am because I testified against them last year and I'll be doing so again this year. And now my family has me all paranoid about it.
I wish I was even half joking about this one.

Have they made any direct threats to you or is this a vague feeling of unease? Certainly alert your staff and any security that may be availalbe to under no circumstances allow them near your office. If you're feeling uncomfortable by yourself at home, ask a friend to stay with you for a few days. When is your testimony? Are they trying to prevent a repeat of last year, or are they just being difficult?

Don't bother - the pictures are just as good. Try to picture yet another person with a weak accent.
And here's another movie review...skip Daredevil. I told OM that any movie with Ben Affleck in it is going to suck, but he read the comic books and was a huge fan. Suffice it to say that I was not disappointed as I had 0 expectations. The soundtrack, however, was quite good.

Is she complaining that this happened because they inflated her breasts to cover those nipples?

Listen, I have neither a horse or a dog and I didn't Google this and and and nothing I can say here will make it sound less weird, so...but it was sent to me - Ack that's worse right?

I have already given a copy of the tape to the police, mainly because they asked me for it. A big part of my taping was to help protect the police from the lawsuit we knew would happen. That is a good suggestion (that I didn't repost) I'll give some copies to my friends too.
They screamed a lot at me during the event, as I was walking up to the event (thankfully with the camera around my neck so I picked it up and started filming) this woman informed me she recognized me and some stuff about me being damned to hell and how God would have his vengeance on me or what have you, I don't remember exactly I'd have to look at the tape. Another one recognized me and starting screaming about how I was a liar. None of them threatened me physical violence, but they don't really seem very sane, frankly. They did try to intimidate me, three of them walked up so close to me that the sign one was holding couldn't be viewed on the camera, they must have been about half a foot away if that. I'm sure the judge will be amused when she takes a look at me, a look at that tape and sees these three guys in my face.
I don't know in the end, though, just a vague feeling of unease since I am not sure what they are capable of doing. I wasn't thinking about it too much but my dad was worried and my uncle was worried, I was just nervous a little before. But now, honestly, I'm worried. It's probably nothing though.

Porn king Larry Flynt wants to rule California

Let me recommend that you do not start with Larry Flynt's flagship publication. That's jumping in the deep end and then some. It's rougly as sexy as an OBGYN textbook.
The above based on what the mags looked like about 20 years ago, which is the last time I saw one. Which is scary, in and of itself.

Sorry, I never had any desire to look at nekkid chicks. NTTAWW people who do, I am just not one of them. I do, however, support the right of people to look at anything they want (so long as we are talking about consenting adults here and not kiddie porn or abusing animals or shit like that). I have never understood how anyone can support the notion that someone/the government can tell an adult that he cannot sell something to another adult because there are other people in the world who don't like it. I don't want to see porn so I don't buy it but I wouldn't stop someone else from buying it. And if people are so worried about their kids getting a hold of the stuff maybe they should control their kids a bit better or just loosen the fuck up for freaks sake.
