[spoiler -- US men's hoops]

US b-ball up 7 with 5 and a half left. i don't know if this is a coaching decision or an injury, but Duncan hasn't played as much as recently.

edit: they won. Duncan played 20 minutes so he's not hurt.

[spoiler space added--mr. uptight]

Duncan had two fouls in the first quarter, and I think picked up a third early in the third quarter. Gasol just kept coming at him.

KRAMER: All right, Jerry--are you familiar with the Kama Sutra?

JERRY: No.

KRAMER: Tantric yoga?

JERRY: No.

Late to the party, but...

I am shocked and dismayed by this post, as I had it on good information that Amanda Beard's boyfriend was Ian Thorpe. WTF? She can't have TWO! No fair!

Since the trend seems to be that the person who posts the 5,000th post gets to name the next thread, that next thread should relate back to that post somehow.

So, I'd like to name this thread: "Where the kids come to mouth off." (DTB can consult on whether a hyphen needs to be inserted.)

TM
No -- no hyphen necessary, as it is a verb, not a noun. Were you to use it as a noun, however, the hyphen would be required (in a perfect world, that is).

I am nothing if not helpful. (There are probably many diverting punctuational riffs one could perform on that sentence a la Ty's "Did you just call me Canadian?", so for those of you who are feeling adventurous -- maybe the anal sex chick? -- have at it!)

Speaking of laundry, I have an actual clothes question. Since I began semi-living alone, I have found myself doing laundry with less and less frequency. Because of this, I have had to buy more t-shirts and underwear. I went to Target last night to purchase a new package of what I thought were boxer briefs. After putting a pair on, I was horrified to find out that they were actually tightie-whities. I know the general rule is that you can't return swimsuits and underwear. But they were only on for a second, and I was just out of the shower so my ass was sebby-clean. If I can't return them, it won't be the dumbest $5.99 I've ever spent, but I don't feel right just wasting money on something I'm just going to throw away. Do you think they'll let me exchange them?
Semi-living? Are you hooked up to a respirator or something? In a coma?

Get well soon!!

And the answer to your (or maybe I should say "you'r") question is... NFW.

Declaration

I object to being at work today. I'd much rather be at home in bed.
