Is there any fucking cell phone service in London at all? Several of my cousins are still unaccounted for.

And to answer another question, if they play hockey, I will watch it.
The news says no cell service in London at all right now -- that emergency services are given priority on the networks. I'm sure your cousins are ok, just like you were, even though they couldn't reach you in NYC that day.

Ignatious would be a difficult part to play without it coming off as cartoonish. If not Will Farrell, then who?

I was on a conference call with a lawyer in London at 8 AM. Maybe that was before the US woke up and started calling in mass.

Thanks - update: all cousins but one have checked in. The other one works odd hours but works in central London - sometimes he works days, sometimes nights, so he could have been there, but odds are he wasn't. Be nice if he checked in, though.

Why would they call in a mass? I'm sure the churches can take care of that live. What gives?

Good to hear gwink.

I e-mailed with a friend of mine at Paul Weiss, and she said that everyone there is ok and most of their office has already gone home.

That'll be the last time Brad DeLong invites Atticus over for dinner.
