If it's your cousin Brian's dealer a prompt callback is not only appropriate but expected.

Depends on who the someone is, of course.

On second thought, no it doesn't. It's not creepy, no matter who it is.

I cannot understand the hurt and scorn you feel bc you are not Jennifer Koppelman JAPPY. Is it somehow related to your needing to be seen by the internet people as some kind of insatiable sex kitten as evidenced by your pathetic avatar? I am thinking this might be a more apt avatar:

Even a non-work situation? (For work, being resourceful is expected, but for personal stuff (other than the "drugs are ready for pickup NOW" call, you don't want to be freaky.)

I wish I could rewind to exactly the point where my personality split and I became a full on fraud. I don't actually "understand" or "get" anything I do. I mimic, use nuggets of knowledge and a few acquired skills, and sort of will myself through my career like some Walter Mitty disaster. I need to go to your Coast. I am waaaay too full of shit for the East Coast.
You're unconcsciously channelling Petros Papadekis, who dubs his Friday radio program, you guessed it, "I'm a Fraud Fridays". Other days are:

"Goodbye Blue Mondays"
"Tired of the Lies Tuesdays"
"Up with Hope Down with Dope Wednesdays"
"!Jueves Gigante!"

For those of you who don't know Petros, he was a captain of the 1998 USC Trojans, and now does color on Pac-10 college football games, as well as having a highly amusing sports talk radio program here in Los Angeles. I think he's an up-and-coming national star, despite having a face that looks, well, kind of like he used to be a blocking back for a major college football team.

Ah. I bet it hurts the spinster when she has to come back with the old "I'm pretending you don't have someone" quip.

Plus, the family runs Papadakis, a good Greek restaurant in San Pedro.

Carry on.

That's true. And the rest of yours, except for the Yankee posts, are all really good. I especially like the ones where:

-you pick one poster, usually a newber, or Paigow, and insult them based on no other rationale than I am cool kid and your not;

-translation posts. Memo: they.have.jumped.the.shark.too.

-I lust Halle Berry posts;

-XYZ (Hollywood stars) are all lame etc etc.

-reminiscing about breasticle days past.

I was just making a distinction about high-end clothes designers. If your shit is already high-end, why spend all that money on Kate Moss. Sign some no name to a long, cheap contract and she'll be a big name in no time based on her link to your brand.

But your post reminds me of the thoughts I often have of what I'd do if I were somebody (in this case, a big name director or producer). I would find young, unknown acting talent and sign them to a contract in which I would give them a significant role or two in my movies. In exchange, I would make them sign over 10% of their earnings on their next five (or whatever) projects, since they would be benefiting from the exposure I'm granting them. How could this not work? A hungry actor would sign anything to be in a big movie and get their careers rolling.

Actors are suckers.*

TM

*I don't know what that makes me, but I can't wait for you guys to tell me!
Sam Goldwyn or Luois B. Mayer. Unfortunately for you, SAG now pretty much prevents this from happening, although I'm sure that plenty of young talent gets fucked over under the current system as well.

No. Assumption of the risk of caller ID by the non-message leaving caller.
