Pearl necklaces are fine, but my engagement and wedding rings have diamonds in them so I cannot make a pearl necklace out of them.

J Geils? No. I'm not going to explain why.
Flash? Yes. Not because he's awesome, but a pioneer.
Buddy Guy? Yes, because he's cited as huge influence by a lot of huge acts like Clapton, page, etc...
Skynrd? Absolutely. All you have to do is listen to "Second Helping" to understand why (and to the idiot who might post about how they're racist hicks, please READ the lyrics, then comment, moron)
Gram Parsons? Shouldn't get in. not enougb music, too much fawning over him just cause he died and hung out with Keith. Yeh, I know he did those cool country rock records, but none of it was earth-shattering.
Pistols/Stooges? Of course.

I'm sorry. I simply cannot accept that Dave Coulier is the guy. No fucking way. I realize that this is the conventional wisdom, but I have to go with the minority view, and vote for the soon-to-be-unemployed Felix Potvin.

OK, now I need to work on something really worthwhile for my K. I'll take suggestions via PM.

You know, only he could get to see her nekkid. I'll let her explain if she chooses to. Or not.

And a younger Not Bob was convinced that Martha Quinn so was that one chick in the video.
I make no claims to betty status, but the issue with the song is that apparently since she posed naked for a magazine, the singer assumes she should have sex (they go to a motel room) with him. That annoys me.

Anyway, if that part of the song were removed I would like it in a nostalgic kind of way.

So, although your husband is stupid and doesn't listen, he got you something that is very "you" anyway? Count your lucky stars he knows who "you" are.

But I agree. Gold is tacky.

Nominees for the 2005 Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, IMHO:

LOCKS (if not now, eventually): U2, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Pretenders (critical darlings, though not a personal fan), the Sex Pistols

MAYBE (probably will eventually): Buddy Guy (lives really close to me), the O'Jays, Percy Sledge, Patti Smith, the Stooges

WTF?: J. Geils Band, Wanda Jackson, Randy Newman, Gram Parsons, Conway Twitty

You think if you lock yourself in the room with both sides and give out blowjobs, while bringing yourself to orgasm, that they would forget their differences and reach an agreement?

Ummmmm...Well, that just might work.

Speaking of...I'm trying to get this closing done and both sides have been at each other's throats (and not in a "pearl necklace" way). You think you could...you know...arbitrate?

http://fuggingitup.blogspot.com/ At first, I thought an FBer was slumming and blogging elsewhere, and then I read the fine print and discovered that Jessica, who recaps for TwoP, has a new blog dedicated to ugly fashion and bad choices by wannabe celebrities.

I'll just be gracious and happy about what the rock means rather than what it looks like/weighs/cut/clarity/etc. This probably explains why no one goes out shopping for rocks for me.

Well, sometimes it isn't a matter of them going out and buying it but choosing between various family heirlooms and deciding which one the wearer will be happiest with in the long run wearing on her finger everyday. He already knows that if he's dropping money for me on anything increbily expensive it ought to have hooves or wheels, not rocks. I think I'd like to use my grandmother's ring (which she gave to me for this purpose), but he has a stone that his father gave him that's been in the family and was intended for this use. I'm not a precious stone person so the "loser" in this would not get made into some other piece of jewelry for me. I think Mr. Bunny doesn't really care which one is used and will go with whatever I prefer.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.
