And this is different from putting her in a class-room of adolescent boys how?

If you weren't such a cheapskate, you could hang out with him over on the Harry Potter board.

Did anyone catch the fan altercation in today's stage? Apparently some asshole punched Andrey Kashechkin in the face on one of the climbs, bloodying his nose

I would go, too, but realized that in order to catch up with that thread, I'd have to read about 3500 pages of those goddamned books, or get the audiobook versions on my iPod at a cost of about $400.

Or rent three dvds and read 2000 pages. What ever way you want to do it.

Watching the telecast this morning, it looked like the fan didn't get his "thunder stick" out of the way fast enough. I am constantly amazed there is not more contact with the "fans" on the side of the road, and am anticipating the day the peleton goes ballistic on them.

Quadrophenia -- The Who.
Brave and Crazy -- Melissa Etheridge.
Greetings from Asbury Park or The Wild, The Innocent and the E-Street Shuffle -- Bruce Springsteen
3 (the melting face one) -- Peter Gabriel.

No, in fact, for a time longer than I'd care to admit, I was downright awkward, gawky, socially inept and downright uncool. And I'm willing to bet that at some point in your life, you were too, if only for a moment. And yet you've lost touch with your past, and become blinded by your current coolness, as if it was always so and always will be so. I cannot sit idly by while you pick on the weak. I'm here to tell you, and the rest of the "cool" kids on these boards that I was NFH, and some part of me will always will be NFH.
I am NFH.

Me too. I am also nfh.

The report I read was that it may have been accidental.
As for Less, someone did go ballistic in the Giro recently, and started whaling on a fan who was cursing him.

Assuming that this is part of a bona fide sporting discussion and not merely a sexual euphemism, tell me -- what's a thunder stick?

I keep ending up over there accidentally when I click to the most recent post on the FB. When I notice that the posts all contain names that BRC likely has reserved for her future progeny, I figure out that I'm in the Harry Potter thread.
So, what is the attraction of the Harry Potter thing? I've never read or seen any of those books/movies. I know RT likes them because the Christian Coalition has condemned them, but what about the rest of you HP freaks?
