Seriously though, I think this category breakdown is a swell idea. I mean, if you had to take the whole world and divide them into "good-looking" or "ugly" it would probably be 70/30 (g-l/u). There are some butt-ugly people out there (Gareth anyone?), but honestly, most people aren't either super hot nor super ugly.
In fact, but for my slight modification of switching Sebby's percentages of "freakish" and "classically ugly", I am totally with him on this one.

Pre,
I expect, no, I demand an appropriately comprehensive and exhaustive algorithm expressing the breakdown of attractiveness in the world. Please check your work before posting.

I simply cannot stress just how sexy a braless woman in t shirt and form-flattering worn in jeans is. A t shirt hugging (loosely, not tightly and cheesily) a pair of nice breasts reminds me why, no matter how bad things might be, its nice to be alive. The way a perfect fitting pair of jeans drapes over the curves of a womans hips and ass is just the best. And if she raises her hands and exposes some hip bones, forget it. I'd jump in front of a bus just to make out with her. I saw a lot of that in Paris. I also became addicted to brunettes for a while.

I think it's the combination of the things others have already pointed out -- people with lots of $$, a lot of "competition" to have the perfect body, etc., and people who are very into fashion. Also the thing about the "melting pot" as opposed to the b[l]each blonde look (talking about LA/Hollywood stereotype -- not the whole of California).
Eh. Whatever.

I didn't see much hotness in SF. Its all Eastern transplants.
I dig the melting pot look, but there is something to be said for the perfect beach chick California look. Its a classic look. You got the hot Euro-brunette on one hand and the sexpot Cali beach blonde on the other. I want both. Of course, you can only have one, and I'm stuck with blonde, so I dream about brunettes. Maybe I'll get her to dye her hair someday...

SF jumps on bandwagon
San Francisco authorities
officiate at 15 same-sex unions
Mayor, officials act ahead of lawsuit
from conservative families’ group
Phyllis Lyon, left, 79, and Dell Martin, 82, right, a San Francisco couple for 51 years, are escorted through City Hall after they were married Thursday in a civil ceremony in San Francisco.
You knew it was only a matter of time for this place.

Although I am not an IP lawyer, I can probably out-geek any IP lawyer on this board -- on paper at least.
As for your algorithm, Flinty, I have to confess . . . I hate math.

Utah may follow soon right behind them in broadening our concepts of marriage:

It wasn't the posting of math, since that was not what flinty did. It was the constant need for verification, if you will that was so like you.

Er, if that's the case, shouldn't you have confused me with yourself?
Edited to ass: My bad, I confused my apparent need for verification (show me!) with your need for acceptance (love me!).

You're probably talking about JoAnne (Jo-Jo), who wasn't Dean's first. With all due respect, you're insane.
Definitive list of Hometime co-hosts, in order of goodness (by which I mean ability to fake DIY prowess+televisionality):
1. Robin Hartl (fourth and current co-host; ten years, baby!)
![](http://www.kinetico.com/residntl/images/robin.jpg)
2. JoAnne "Jo-Jo" Liebeler (second co-host; let's just say she photographs well and your mother is always telling you she's pretty)
![](http://www.pbs.org/hometime/about/images/jojo2.jpg)
3. Suzanne Egli (third co-host; left no impression but got out of Dean's way)
![](http://w3.trib.com/~eem/suzanne.jpg)
4. Peggy Knapp (first co-host; bigtime butch; suffered most from low production value)
Robin is by far the best looking on a daily basis; in the best shape (check her out in jeans); and is the only one who could ever bury a nail regardless of her sexual leanings. I just wish she would just pick a hairstyle and be done with it --- it's a freakin' home improvement show. I'm also glad they quit with the "we're a couple" storylines. I didn't buy it.
ETA: Jesus. Maybe the male members of the board want to vote on which Wiggle they'd let stab them in the back. I'll go with Anthony, assuming Captain Feathersword is out of contention. I still think Lakshmi Singh has the most mellifluous name on NPR, FWIW.
