Now shifter's going to have to go out and buy a dark wig.

She looks better than expected, but "well" is not a word I would use. She looks like Courtney Love with dark hair.

I'd watch these posts, they kind of undercut your compliments to the FBetties.

That's why I said that it isn't a great picture (of course, I think that Courtney Cox was cute before she lost too much weight -- or chose her ass instead of her face, I guess). She looked much better on TV (she was number 40 or so on VH-1's Top 100 Child Stars, or something).
I learned that she's the singer of a band called Jaded. I kinda figured that (like the chick who played Blair in "The Facts of Life" and Joannie from "Happy Days" and "Joannie Loves Charles In Charge") Tina would be a Jesus-loving housewife (NTTAWWT) instead of a sorta-gothic chick singer in leather.

Agreed, except for the downhill part, which may be a bit strong. The show changed after the first couple of years and became much more sophisticated social commentary.
What about Seinfeld? I don't remember thinking much of the early episodes, although, like the Simpsons, it ran out of gas before Jerry pulled the plug.
Laugh if you will, but Miami Vice got better in the middle, at least if you preferred the dark, brooding version.
Oh, and what season did Melrose Place get better? It sure sucked at first, but then picked up with Kimberly, and Kimberly returns. But maybe that was before the third season. Oh so long ago.

We are both hard core fans of a variety of shows (Buffy, X-Files, Alias, Simpsons, etc.), and we couldn't think of a single television show that got better as the run went on.

Hill St. Blues was lousy at the end, but it took them a few years to figure their characters out.

One of the greatest TV shows ever. I share SportsGuy's obsession with all things Miami Vice.

You are right. The first season was awful. They brought in Heather Locklear and Kimberly around the third season, I think. Got much better.

WWJD?
Which of the top 50 on-screen rides would you pick?
I would go wither with Manny's Caddy from Scarface or Jenna Jameson.

The list is hopelessly flawed without the Millennium Falcon or the Scarab from Miami Vice on it, though I give props for Battlecat.

When have those two phrases appeared together in a post?
Me:
3. Captain America's Chopper
2. Airwolf
1. Deathstar.
If the death star gets bumped, put the back to the future car in its place. I'd use it to enjoy Jenna Jameson always in her prime.

Good point on 2, although on 1 the rules are clear. But would the Scarab outrank the Countach? Or Tubbs' caddy?

This list is pretty brilliant. The Libyans' van from Back to the Future? I would have never thought of that, but of course it belongs in the top 50.

I liked the inclusion of K.A.R.R.
