Another way to look at the results of Last Comic Standing

I'm sure an Alternative Ordinal Voting system would have worked really well on a call-in/text message system.

Once it's down to 3, there's an HoH competition and winner decides who they take to the finals. Last year it involved Lisa, Danielle and Jason in the pool doing a Survivor/Hands on a Hardbody thing where Lisa easily outlasted J&D.
Dana will not get a single vote this week, even from Justin. Bank on it.
Alison is the highest of high comedy. She is so stupid-petty about this Dana thing. Ever heard of the high road? Of course not. Penna sorority TRASH.
Last night, the "Nathan-is-gay" thing cracked my ass up. I don't think Nathan is gay, Auntie Twats.
You would have liked Big Brother 2 and 3. Too bad you missed em. Big Brother 1 wasn't much, though I fondly think back about crazy Brittany, stupid Curtis, and of course, Chicken George.

wrong. It was stated on the first episode that Erika is 33. Remember that Jun without an e made the catty comment that Erika was at her peak and it was all downhill for her? Clearly she was just jealous of Erika's fake tits. Threatened also.
Jack is divorced, but lives with his exwife.

According to an ep a couple of weeks ago, Jack is happily divorced but they see each other every day, according to his ex-wife.
To pull a str8:
The OM knows Jack -- well, met him a few times anyway, back when Jack was recruiting for the Man.

Now they're on to the "Guys Night Out" ads. I think that's what you do when you can't stand that Chick's Rule.

I'm pretty sure I saw a new "song referencing love of twins" Coors Light ad the other day, so don't get your hopes up. Football season is coming, NTTAWWT.

Do guys even drink Coors Light? The only people I think I have ever seen drinking it are women (lord knows why - it tastes like water - actually maybe that is why). Why does Coors target guys so relentlessly in its ads? Is it working - anyone know?

No, precisely because it tastes like water. Like some of their commercials, though, like the "Mighty Wingman" ad:
"You're taking one for the team, so your buddy can live the dream..."

The guys I know who drink light beer drink one of the others. Coors Light had a brief spike in consumption when it was the lowest carb beer, but I think that Mich Ultra Light (I think that's its name) has hurt that little demographic. I will admit to being a light beer drinker (please, bring on the ridicule), and Coors Light is my least favorite. It has some weird bitter aftertaste that I don't get from Miller Lite or Bud Light. I also like Ultra Light, but I will be the first to admit that stuff tastes like water.
edited to fix typo.

The ads target both men and women. Recent research suggests that all women (at least the hot ones) are at least bi-curious. The "twins" ads strongly appeal to the inner fantasies of this sort of bi-curious female - i.e., one swho wants to sleep with another woman but wants the other to look just like her. The bi-curious, thirsting for the nether-nectar of forbidden love, just drink Coors Lite instead, but they don't know why.
Men don't drink Coors Lite, but will buy it in the hopes of seeing some hot lesbo action from chicks who do.

I really hate the adds. I sincerely hope that the "band" that does that twins song drives their bus over a cliff.
That said, I will occasionally use Coors Light as working beer. For instance, last summer, I spent a long weekend painting a house with various friends and family. We would start in on the Coors Light at around 11:00 a.m. We had a keg of good local stuff that we'd break out at quittin' time. The "taste like water" part, and the relatively low alcohal level, made it work just fine for working beer.

The semi-stalking guy I mentioned having a date with a few weeks back. We ate dinner at a Japanese restaurant that only carried Japanese beers and he asked the waiter which was the closest to Coors Light. And he was kind of freaked by the sake (and the sashimi) I ordered.

Concur. FWIW, that is one of the more astute beer commentaries I have ever heard. Though, I will say that in all other situations but this one, ideally you would start with the better stuff and move on the the Coors Light once taste didn't matter so much, but YMMV.

If I never hear (read) the term "Your mileage may vary" or "YMMV" again, I would be pleased. It's over.
And I could live without "spot on" which is just stupid.

The only SG whose apartment was halfway clean lived in Jersey and was probably already gay anyway (NTTAWWT). Is NYC really filled with that many mentally ill packrats? I'm starting to think that all those cute Manhattan walkups I saw in the background street shots on "Mad About You," "Friends" and "Will & Grace" are actually filled with rotting garbage and feral cats.

Yeah, but what the fuck was up with that shirt? If I were his friend, I'd tell him, "Hey, Thom. Carson called. He wants his shirt back." And all six of us would laugh, and then we would all go out for Pisco Sours and butt sex (which I would decline because I have to work in the morning).

Yes, as you would know, paig, if you watched the E! True Hollywood Story on Family Feud, you would know the breakdown (pun intended) on the hosts -
Richard Dawson - egomanic; difficult to work with; left over $ dispute; might have come back briefly later, but damage to relationship with producers was already done
Ray Combs - insecure, with bouts of depression; was fired for poor ratings (they have nver returned to Richard Dawson levels - damn that egomaniac!); killed self while in hospital for depression; bedsheet/closet but not linked to autoerotic asphyxiation (see Michael Hutchins)
Louie Anderson - couldn't improve ratings levels either (damn you, Richard Dawson!); was blackmailed regarding secret homosexual escapade (I believe he tried to pay a guy for some sex act and the guy later took to extortion to keep it out of the press); eventually fired
Bottom line - show should have ended when Dawson left (damn you, Richard Dawson!)

And now it's Richard Karn of "Home Improvement" fame.
