Hell no, call her up and taunt that hellspawn. If you can't rejoice in your enemy's failures, what use is living?

Sometimes, when I go to concerts, I have a friend who will go up and ask the band if their amplifiers go up to 11! Everyone always knows what he is talking about. He is pretty nuts, though. I'll share some more stories about him later. A complete kook AND a darn good lawyer too. For now, I was chided by Private Message (my first ever!!) to not post so much, so I am going go back into cocktail party mode! Oh, and thanks to you-know-who for the advice! Muchos Gracias! hahaha I don't speak Spanish. ha! See you guys tomorrow!

Gun Control?

Last weekend I went to a target range and fired guns for the first time ever - 32 cal.; 9 mm and 45 cal. pistols. It was frightening and, well, exhilarating.

The movies totally underplay the force of even a very small gun - holding an explosion in the palm of your hand; that concentration of physical power.

So I vote yes on control of guns. Destruction shouldn't be that easy. At least make the average joe jump through a few hoops to get one.

Don't feel badly Atticus, you are not the first person to doubt me and you won't be the last, but at least it must be comforting to you to know that you have company in the land of the misunderestimators.

I think the board would mostly agree that I am mainly correct when I say you add nothing new to the board. You are like a K Tel album putting together hits that arent necessarily the greatest of other people, and trying to make a little industry for yourself. Not buying it. As Steve Winwood said, make us laugh or leave us alone.
Look woman, I'm on your IGNORE LIST. IGNORE ME ALREADY!

I am here for these other people.

But, in your behalf, your Highless, BZZZZT, THANKS FOR LAYING!

Ditto. You may want to urinate on the ex-boss' doorstep too.

A truly stupid and useless gesture, but few things say f.u. like the smell of stale ex-employee's urine on your doorstep.

Campaigns in small population states are generally cheaper, mainly because TV time in flyover country is cheaper. So I bet dollars contributed to a small state senator's campaign fund go further than those in big population states. I don't distinguish that much between bribes and campaign contributions.

Apparently, this isn't a new trend.

My SIL is a secretary at a public High School. A couple of years ago, twin boys started ninth grade there. Their names were Lemonjello and Orangejello, I believe pronounced Lemahn-gelo and Orahn-gelo. She tells me she's seen some interesting ones over the last several years.
Or maybe the SIL (or, heaven forbid, some parent) has had a little too much time on their hands and decided to read Dan Jenkins' novels. Perhaps there were another set of twins named Budget and Avis?

I'm naming my kid Tylenol. Unless I change my mind.

in high school my best friend Mark Plant, was promising to name his first born son marijuana, but that's not a brand name. we've drifted, so don't know how this turned out.
