If you share a bed with your children, he may make fewer demands on you.

If you can afford to buy one of these huge monster homes, why would you skimp on getting brick all around? And why the huge waste of space foyer in the front with the massive palladium windows? What are you ever going to use that space for?

My in laws have a phallus room at the front of their home and its just this huge soaring waste of space. I don't get it.
On b), since they got photoshop to make pictures. Surely this is not entirely real.

But, yeah, every house apparently now needs elements of at least three architectural styles. You need some brick-face, some (simulated) wood (grain) siding, and some stone. Otherwise it doesn't sufficiently communicate that you've made it.

House went up near me . . . another abomination. Stone on one side, sort of tudor. Other side has the giant greek columns, but not quite in a Georgian revival style, because they're on the part of the house using stone-colored stucco. The topper is the statutette out front of two children on a swing. Jesus, however, is not watching over them. Or grabbing the boy's nuts.

Sounds like you want it though, not that there is anything wrong with that, even though the in-laws part is a little kinky, but what the hey, try loosening up their inhibitions with some viagra laced jaegermeister and then offer to take their phallus.

Why do you think people rubberneck at accident scenes? Some psychiatrist recently published an essay about this, where he said people get many somewhat pleasurable, or somewhat titilating emotions from sad or horrific events. I wish I could find the piece. Basically, he was saying there's a certain strangely satisfying "Thank God that ain't me" reaction people get from seeing bad things happen to others. I think that's the emotion that drives such horrorshow reality programs - a "God, my life really isn't that bad" kick.
The concept is called "schadenfreude" in German, and it's been around almost since the beginning of psychiatry. It's not a new concept.

Nor is publishing an article recycling an old theory into something new and remarkable.

Yeah, and I think there was once this reality show about this cat who gouged out his own eyes after killing his dad and fucking his mom, and this dude didn't even live in some proley zip. And then there was the one about this raving bitch who killed her own kids just for revenge on her husband, who cheated on her with some younger chick whose dad was some well connected rich cat. I wonder what those psychiatrists would have to say about that. Some fucked up shit.
