We banned that shit in the office a few years back. I thought the staff was going to mutiny.

Its amazing - people actually thought stretch clothes were work appropriate.

Ever seen Camel Toe on a 300 lb woman? It makes the Nick Berg video seem palatable...

I have the same problem with the word "privilege". It seems like it needs a "d" in there somewhere.

By the way -- when I told mr.dtb our son's "poo and pee" joke -- he he laughed so hard, he practically swallowed his own tongue. Like I said...

I went through my Fred Astaire phase in fourth grade. My folks were really fucking concerned there for a while.

While we're on parasols, I'm going to have to goddamned get one if I can't find a decent sunscreen--one that's not sticky and glommy and heavy and doesn't make me feel like I've slathered on a layer of Vaseline. Anyone?

Having sustained my first sunburn of the season this weekend by walking 2 goddamned blocks for iced coffee, and having spent the rest of my Sunday slathering aloe on my cleavage, I need suggestions.

There was a time, when either it was a little more arguably fashionable, or I was just more clueless, when I would wear a sportcoat with jeans quite often. I had a very nice green linen jacket that just worked with everything, including jeans. However, I also had a pony tail, so I didn't violate the golden rule.

I miss that jacket. I lent to a jackass friend who "misplaced" it somewhere on the streets of New Orleans.

"was" is the word you are searching for. Past tense of is.

In the alternative you could insert the words "flashing back to 1990" or "but for the fact that she's fifty trying desparately to look like thirty".

Carry on.

Deal with the sunburns and get a man-ho to handle the aloe slathering tasks?

I also have pleated pants. I mostly don't care if pants are pleated or flat-front. I don't ever notice when someone else is wearing pleated pants (unless they bow out). And wearing them has never affected my ability to get laid. My face has, but it is neither pleated nor flat-front.

Yes. But it was the early nineties, and I was in my early twenties.

And somehow I still got laid.

Upon the recommendation of a friend of hers, Mrs. Not Bob bought SPF 15 made by Neutragena (is that how it is spelled?) that she really likes. It's pretty light, non-oily, etc., and it seems to work well.

BunnySutra

So, my Bunnysutra watch came in the mail yesterday. Lord knows where I'll wear it (to work?) but it's cool. I looked for it on ebay and all the listings were WAY over swatch list price and saying how hard it was to get. I ordered mine from teh Swatch online store on Monday and it was to my house Wed. by standard delivery. WHy would people sit around waiting for a watch to end paying twice list price when they can get it in two days from the online store? So weird.

TO whomever originally posted the watch, I thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.
