How About Pussy University?

The question, in the news category, is: What Pennsylvania institution changed its name to Arcadia University in 2001, after web filters began blocking its old moniker? The answer, of course, is Beaver College.

True story. I took an acting class at Beaver College when I was in high school.
I do not recall singing songs from Fame, but did have to do an improvisation using the lyrics to the Rolling Stones song, Paint It Black.

If I buy an Ipod

I tried watching the video in the apple store recently. The picture is really sharp. But it's really small. I just couldn't see myself holding an ipod up so I could see it during my commute. And if I'm sitting around watching TV, I certainly wouldn't want to have to hold it up to watch.
If I were buying today I would get a nano--the capacity is big enough and the size is tiny.

You just like saying "Chopard", don't you? It makes you feel classicly exotic.

Holy shit. You made me look, and I see there's a Power Puff Girls one. Thanks for making me part with my hard-earned $35 for a watch for my kindergartener.

If it makes you feel any better, if she doesn't already know how to tell time, she will soon. My kid (okay, he's a frickin' genius, but still) had analog time-telling completely figured out within five minutes of putting on his flik flak watch. I'm a fan. Of course, he lost it within weeks, but he was only 3.5. Now that he's six, I'm thinking of trying again, and just telling him to never take it off. That's the beauty of Swatch--you don't have to.

I don't think that's waay too much for a kid's watch.
my husband bought our son these Vans based on a group he likes, The Descendants. they are so cute.
