Rush was only made tolerable by an admixture of beer and pot. The Giants tonight were only made tolerable by beer and the hope of seeing 756. It is now the bottom of the 11th and I am home and opting to go to bed rather than watch an extra innings game between the Giants and the Nationals sans Barry.

You left out the Jason Isbell show, which, while far from only just tolerable, was even better by the supersize pours of Black Label.

FWIW I always used the Faculty Men's Restroom, so i did not cross any adult/child boundary.

"Tried as an Adult"

Someone please explain to me the logic behind trying a child as an adult. They were going to try the girl in this article as an adult until they saw the filth that she was forced to live in. I do not understand why that makes any difference and I definitely don't understand the general rationale behind picking and choosing which kids are to be treated as adults.

Some states require minors 16 or older to be tried and imprisoned as adults for certain because it is cheaper, and gives the politicians more budget for their pet projects.

True, but I was going with Sebby's theme.
P.S. I guess we aren't going to the game tomorrow.

The taint won't be long, as AROD will break that record, in what, 4 years?
And a good sign as a Met fan caught the ball!
PS true to my prediction, as soon as I closed the last loop on the last letter of my signature on the mortgage, the market collapsed.

At least you locked in your mortgage, right? Better than getting socked with extra high rates that are on the market for jumbo loans now.

I did but after the little jump (actually thanks to a call from the guy at the bank) but before the big one.

Public service announcement.
If you plan on vaulting over a split rail fence, keep in mind that when you start vaulting over the top rail, it may split in half and break under you. You will then crash onto the next rail, and leave you with an awesome scratch on your chest.
