[*]I had lunch with a guy who, when he found out I'm a lawyer, started asking me about how to get out of some sort of boating citation (something involving failure to have an observer while a kid was on a jet ski type thing in another state). His big issue was that it's a Class C Misdemeanor and he doesn't want that "on his record." The fine is $150. I ducked and hemmed and hawed and said I wasn't really a criminal defense attorney licensed in Arizona, but maybe he should call the court and/or DA and see what they ahve to say. He wanted to know if he should request a jury trial. Does anyone actually care about Class C Misdemeanors? This guy is a physician, and I'm pretty sure that neither hospitals nor medical boards care. Eagles should bring back Vince Papale. To play. No RBs and no WRS does a very sucky team make. I thought about dressing up in a TO jersey and going there.

Lincoln Field is awesome. The crab fries are more addicive than crack.

Funniest day of my life was going to the Seattle -- Eagles Monday night game last year in a snowstorm. Was fucking 21 nothing before I got to my seat.

I am not a homer but I like the Jints. Not to go all the way, but at least to run through the div.

Don't say "I'm a lawyer." I would say "I do complex patent prosecution and litigation for very large corporate clients...." you might say "i do high-level medical legal work trying to get fair coverage for underpriveleged individuals." or whatever it is you do. i am not encouraging you to lie.

What you want to do is convince one of the two lawyers that because you do more complex law than they do, and/or you have a bias for/against little guys, they do not want you on their jury.
