Is there anybody here who'll listen to my story?

For whatever reason, the following ideas for Halloween costumes popped into my head this morning on the drive back from the courthouse. Both are sports related, and although neither of them will likely win you any contest, I never have ideas for costumes (which explains why I usually stay at home passing out Kit-Kats to the neighborhood youth in my Middle-aged Lawyer's Soft Bigotry of Low Expectations costume).

1. Wear an Atlanta Falcon's number 7 jersey, with multiple stuffed dogs (a Snoopy, a Pluto, an Underdog, heck maybe a Goofy if you're feeling wacky) attached at their mouths to the jersey. A little fake blood around the mouth of each dog, and you have PETA's Revenge.

2. Wear a Mets jersey (I'd go with Reyes or maybe, sigh, Glavine) with fake arms going up to your neck. Paint your face blue, and you have Second Worst New York Baseball Choke.
Normally, I dress up as Shaun Alexander to hand out candy. But this year that means I'll have to be invisible. I'm not sure how to pull that off.

How much? Do you mean a small patch? I think we all decided that the heart and the Hitler 'stache were unacceptable.
Or do you mean larger patch of shorter lawn?

eta - not that I care personally. Because anything done is not up to your approval. Not that there's anything wrong with your approval. I guess I'm just asking what you mean by "a little something."

I like both of these. Heck, I really don't care that much, but I prefer it not be completely bald or disco mitty.

How far from this is Bailey's character? Other than being a full role, rather than an occasional judge.
It's a lot different. Bailey is as fully-developed as a character as any of them -- and I think more so than Meredith.

Bailey is one of my favorite characters on the show though I agree with TM that they should show more of her family dynamics. They've barely mentioned her kid since he was born.

Until TM mentioned it, I hadn't really stopped to think much about how ethnically diverse the cast is. The characters aren't written as Black Doctor, Asian Doctor, Hispanic Doctor, White Doctor but as different personalities and character traits.

For the record, I tried to watch Grey's Anatomy once (my sister was with me and she said "You'll LOVE this show!") and I hated it. I kept changing the channel to a rerun of CSI.

Yesterday, I tried to watch ultimate fighting. I thought to myself, "you should really give this a chance, you'll probably LOVE this!" But I didn't. I liked the first part, when they were hitting each other, and then one guy did a beautiful take down, and then they were on the floor grappling with each other for like, forever, and it totally looked like they were fucking. It disturbed me. So I switched to a Law and Order rerun. So take the grappling out, and I'll probably be a fan. Where is Sidd these days?

"It's an incredible coincidence. Honestly," said Indians spokesman Bob DiBiasio.

exactly. In a couple of seasons, bree will become a new doctor, and it will be revealed that she has a metal plate in her head and is, in fact, Dr. Kimberly Shaw.
I actually have never watched even one episode of Grey's Anatomy, and I only watched Melrose Place regularly during the 1st season and wasn't watching at all by the time things got weird. But people talk about them all the time. And I skim/read Variety and THR sometimes.

Waxing -- non-triangular shapes are stupid. They are way, way beyond stupid when there's some kind of square or rectangle on the abdomen someplace above the clit, but the entire vaginal area is bare. That's unnatural and implausible and kind of alarming in a "oh my god, that person is a mutant and/or suffered terrible, skin-modifying burns in a really tender area" way.

My opinion on this is meaningless to all other women in the world, though, since I don't do women.

AON, it seems like the NYC SATC women picked up going totally bare in LA, but in my gym, I have never seen anyone bare. Weird.
