What in the hell did she do to get herself sued given this scenario? That's wild.

I love BB4. The X Factor has certainly been a factor because it messed up all the early alliances with many players secretly conniving with their exes with the intention of stabbing them in the back.
Last night's episode for example

included Nate's only possible winning gambit. He is in bed under the covers talking to the rapidly expanding Jun and offers a two sentence argument for why Robert should use the veto to spare Jack and put Ali up. Jun hears him, jumps up, and runs from the room to tell the 3.
How could you not love that?
As for the return of the Mack, it was incredibly disappointing. I haven't watched the show at all, so I have no idea why one guy WORE A HAT on his entire date. A baseball hat no less. Sitting on a blanket, kissing Erin, while she has to duck around the bill. Nice.
Rob was there for a second and Erin was stunned and buried her face in the shoulder of the host. Rob was explained as "someone from her past."

So, Thurgreed, we have now watched the episode w/Dianna, so what's the dirt on the show?

Seemed like the Fab 5 were meaner to their crew member than to the other guys. I loved the look on his face when they were trimming his body hair in the kitchen. Pretty anti-climactic episode. What's the point of doing all that over a 4 month relationship (that evidently doesn't last much longer)? Dianna seemed nice, but kind of underwhelmed. She was probably already figuring out how to check herself out of the "relationship"...

Boy Meets Boy and BB4
spoiler (does anyone watch this?)
Boy Meets Boy-Well, I guess a lifetime of hanging with gay men has really finetuned my gaydar bc I was right that Dan "too cute to be straight" was straight and so was Michael (thought that was more of a gimme). Here is where I am befuddled. I am pretty certain that both Sean and Franklin are straight, but the Mistress (who reminds me of Joan Collins in her Skinemax period- how hot were those flicks when you were twelve?) says there is only one straight mate. Perplexing. However, I am not above judging so will speculate that Sean is the gay, but recently out of the closet and Franklin is the straight. Though I really cant see how Sean is gay (except for the dancing to I will survive, NTTAWWT). Anyone?
BB4- hasta la vista, Jack. I thought he was toast the minute he was nominated bc given a moron and an FBI guy, who do you elimiate? I liked him the most and am bummed.

Cupid is hands down my favorite reality TV love and marriage show. The biggest reason is because the guys get involved in setting up the dates and they do different things than on Bachelor, Love or Money, Joe Millionaire etc.
Speaking of Love or Money, my cousin called me to help her friend with a legal problem just when Cupid started and I accidentally taped over Love or Money. Can anyone fill me in on the Return of Rob and who got the boot?**
Cupid Spoilers below.....
Poor Scott got the boot. Probably a good thing because it was clear Lisa wasn't into him but I can't believe Robert wasn't even in the lowest 3 vote getters. People must be voting for him just to keep watching him bumble through his dates. I still get the feeling he is putting on an act -- when he gets booted he'll probably reveal that he's from New Jersey and fooled everyone.
I think I figured out what bothers me about Ken's looks -- lantern jaw. His face is so long and thin, his chin is in a different area code than his eyes.
This week the guys had to buy clothes for Lisa to wear on their dates. They got $1,000 for both the outfit and the date. Sounds like a lot but they dropped then off at what looked like Rodeo Drive where I suspect that wouldn't go far. And the shopping and date were after going sleepless for 30+ hours. Too flipping funny. Ken bought a pink lace bra for a backless strappy dress and several of the other guys bought bras that didn't work with the outfit. I don't think the producers told them what size she wears because they seemed to be guessing on the size for both clothes and shoes.
Robert once again gets the award for creepiest date. He bought the ugliest yellow thing and shiny metallic flat slippers/skimmers. And in the store he sprayed perfume on the underwear he got and then smelled them. Eeeeuouw! The topper was that he started crying on the date. If he isn't putting on an act, he is one strange dude.
Hank. Mercy me. If I were Lisa, I'd just jump him and then beg my family and friends to vote early and often for him. He is so my type.
Joe is not especially good looking but he's such a nice guy, he'd be my second choice.
**The friend's ex-BF took her credit card and forged her signature on about $5,000 of stuff (she has a clearly feminine name -- don't clerks even notice when some guy is signing as "Pamela?"), she made about every wrong choice she could in dealing with it and is getting sued by the bank. Two questinos from this.
1) Isnt lanternjaw a compliment? I am totally confused bc now I dont know how to interpret Peoplenew's position on Ban Assfleck
2) Does Cupid get rerun at all? I saw the Robert date during the commercial and am falling more in love with Laura. I bet she would do a girl if the right one came along.

I think that there is some chance that Sean, Franklin and Darren could be straight. SO was pumped that he called Dan right. I had Michael pegged from day 1. I don't give any weight to the fact that the hostess said only one might be straight b/c they are lying to the guy anyway. I'll veer away from Franklin and go with Sean as the straight one if there is only one...
Wes is still my fav. Think I'll write him some fan mail and see if he is looking for any friends in Dallas. I could so set him up.

The cheesy porno collection with "Oui" and "Barely Legal" hadn't already sent her scrambling?
I was cringing during the massive back-waxing. You never hear women screech like that in salons. And I had no idea men could 'mandscape' their chest hair' as opposed to just shaving it--who knew you could mow it like a lawn?

As I said, she made every wrong choice she could.
1. She didn't file a police report. The ex-BF is presently in jail on unrelated charges so if she'd filed charges it should have been a slam dunk to get them taken off.
2. When the card company didn't believe her that it was forgery, she didn't keep trying or belatedly file a police report.
3. She started making payments on this amount, couldn't keep up with the payments tried to "work with" the company via the collection agent, when the account got current again they slapped on all the interest from the time it was in the collections and she went into default again.
4. Played ostrich -- ignore the problem and it will go away.
5. Never saw a consumer credit counselling group that might have been able to help her (I called them last night -- did you know they have 24/7 hotlines -- and they said there is nothing they can do after suit is filed).
Moral of the story: Don't date felons and when they steal from you, don't let emotions cloud your judgment.

Wow, you weren't joking, she sure did, starting with whom she chose to date.
Edited to say, but I am sure we all have dated our share of winners over the years.
I have to wince every time I think about my first gf. All I can do is shake my head and wonder what the hell I was thinking.
How about the rest of you? Major significant other mistakes?
In my case, she was downright crazy, I really couldn't have chosen much worse. Thankfully it only lasted 5 months. (She was even an attorney.)

Argh. I also pegged Darren as a straight. Despite the predilection for armless shirts (YTISWWT) , Maybe I am picking Franklin as the straight bc he is my perfect type bc Sean's hair is so "straight guy trying to get a gay guy haircut to win money". But it couls also be a freshly out haircut too and he just hasnt been in the gay culture enough. Where is he from? New England? I love him. He reminds me of that blond boy shrimp heir from Trista show. Sweet and shy and horrible hair.
Could Joan Collins be jibing us? I didnt think so. And she did say "one straight mate" right, and not siomething more ambiguous? What a great show= they should call it "Who's the Gay?". I wonder if Andra who has gone from hottie to nottie very fast, will try to seduce a guy to see if he is the straight.

As E/O said, Rob's return was in the last 30 seconds, so nothing really happened. Erin spent all her date time with Wade and Chad (I think that's his name - the tall, non-Eric one). Chad has grown on me and I think he is her favorite, tho she thinks Wade is a safer bet to pick her over the $$. No chemistry Greg was eliminated (finally). He kind of let her have it for not getting to know him in the goodbye portion.
This show is not nearly as fun as the first one b/c Erin is in on the secret. I think that the secret part was what built the suspense in the first one...

Many self-identified transgendered people don't go on the chopping block for this reason. And FTM surgery is much rarer and less successful, as you need a prosthesis to perform intercourse. What's interesting is the dispute over whether people seeking reassignment might be already suffering from low sex drive, which may contribute to dissatisfaction about sexual identity.

You are making this more complicated than necessary. As Wilde observed, art makes the complicated beautiful.
True art:
BEN AFFLECK, ACTOR: Every relationship, there's a bull and a cow. I'm the bull, you're the cow. You got that?
JENNIFER LOPEZ, ACTRESS: Yes, I got it. Bull, cow.

Sean reminds me of David Arquette. I can't shake it. But maybe he is more like David Arquette's cross-dressing brother? I doubt it though.
Andra looked like she was going to puke or pass out during the entire elimination. I wanted to sit her down on the couch and put a nice cool rag on her face. I've never thought she was stunning, but definitely pulling all the hair away from the face was a mistake. She is another one with the viewing angles issue- cute from some angles, really not from others.

QUEER EYE
Many of us aren't that naturally hairy (thank God). I think they were just more critical of him because they know him. The back and forth innuendo and comments were also a little rawer as a result because the crew member seemed to be more comfortable making risque comments back at the Fab 5.

What was up with the "snug-fit" condoms?? They went off on him for those... What self-respecting guy, even if he needed them, would buy them (except for our old friend Tiny Tiny Ex)???
BOY MEETS BOY
I just knew it on Dan. Overacting, and created too elaborate of a story and was tripping over himself. As for the one supposedly remaining straight guy, I tend to think its not Sean or Franklin, but the Doogie Howser looking-guy whose name escapes me (Darren?). Seems like James is really stuck on Wes. Regardless, James seems like a nice guy and I hope his final choice is really gay, for his sake.

Franken replies
From Salon gossip colunm -
Al Franken, currently vacationing in Italy, has responded to Fox News Channel’s "fair and balanced" lawsuit, saying he’s not worried by it but is considering bringing a suit of his own. "As far as the personal attacks go," Franken told the Associated Press, "when I read 'intoxicated or deranged' and 'shrill and unstable' in their complaint, I thought for a moment I was a Fox commentator. And by the way, a few months ago, I trademarked the word 'funny.' So when Fox calls me 'unfunny,' they're violating my trademark. I am seriously considering a countersuit."
As I said before, this only means good things for Frankin's book sales numbers. What stupid FoxNews exec couldn't figure that one out?
