I'm pretty sure Adult board has most of the size/shape types covered.

With the stories we have heard of your children, I am sure that that slingshot theory has been tested many times, and that your neighbors are happy about the distances.
The developers may be upset that they've been unable to sell those adjacent lots (and those adjacent to those adjacent to those adjacent lots).

Like many others in the Twin Cities area, Bilmore's 'burb was considered "the country" 30 years ago so some houses have large lots. Now it is McMansion heaven.
My zip code is "Upper Crust," but I live in an area that I call "the slums" of FugeeBurb. The Baguettes could hit at least 6 houses with a slingshot from my yard, which is why they aren't allowed to bring weapons if the Baggins ever deign to come slumming to the Manor.

AI (Spoiler?)
The votes won't be announced 'til tomorrow, but don't read if you don't want to hear how your fave did.
The musical theme for tonight was Soul. Not surprisingly, the black folk kicked ass. LaToya and Fantasia perform like they've been on national TV for years. I liked Fantasia even better than when she sang to get into the top 12. Her voice has an interesting timbre. LaToya is hands down my current favorite to win but Fantasia isn't far behind. Right behind them are George and Jennifer Hudson. This was not my favorite performance by Jennifer but she at least got her wardrobe right.
My little red head gave my least favorite of his performances. The pitch wasn't solid and he was a little blah. Also, he needs to get a new look -- the suit shouldn't be an everyday thing. Still, I love his voice and I hope he moves on. Also, his hair is the same color as my youngest nephew's.
For tm diva's benefit, I have to say that Jon Peter gave the best singing performance I've heard him give. But that dancing has got to go -- it is rEdiculous. And he needs a new haircut that doesn't look like a hobbit's bowl cut. Simon said he was a dark horse to win. I hope not because there are better singers and definitely better performers. His dad is a hoot though.
Jasmine Trias and Diana DeGarma were the best teenagers tonight, but I am getting really tired of that flower over the ear deal. Yeah, we get it, you're from Hawaii. Camille Velasco had a bad song choice for her voice and was shaky. She has always sounded nasal or adenoidal to me, so I don't mind if she doesn't move on. Leah sang somewhat flat and didn't wow me. Simon told her she should pack her bags because she wasn't going to move on. Randy (who doesn't like my red head) and Paula disagreed.
Pink hair Amy and Rose Bowl Matt were decent but they didn't knock me out.
My prediction would be that it will be one of the teen girls, either Camille or Leah, who gets knocked out. But then again I never predicted the Hobbit would win the vote last week, so what do I know.
I'm bummed. The lines were busy right after the show ended so I was going to wait a bit and then call in for LaToya, Fantasia, George, Jennifer and John Stevens. I got distracted and now the lines are closed here. I hope they all get through. My little red head is the only one I'm worried about though so all may be well.

Howdy Doody needs to go. He's Clay without the voice and charisma.

AI (Spoiler?)
I generally agree with Fugee, though I counter her inexplicable fondness for John Stevens with my own inexplicable hobbit love for Jon Peter Lewis.
Latoya London, Fantasia Barrino and Jennifer Hudson were all fantastic. Their experience performing (F & J at church and L in her wedding band) really shows--they are real pros who know how to structure a song and how to sell it. Any of these three would have cleaned the clocks of almost all of the contestants in the other seasons, and all of the other black woman contestants.
George Huff was also amazing. This week's theme really benefited him, as he has an old-timey soul voice. I LOVE the tone of his voice. I also think shaving the mustache was a good move--he looks more his own age now (Latoya also went for a younger look, which was good).
The other person I voted for was, you guessed it, Jon Peter Lewis. There's something really appealing about his voice--sometimes he sounds like Elton John, and he evokes a number of singers from the 80s. He did dance too much--it made his performance seem a little off-hand. I'm a bit worried that he's not serious enough. From his "package" (why did they call them that?), he seems like a bit of a dabbler, jack of all trades, master of none. He needs to really buckle down and, like the judges said, let his vocals shine.
Diana Degarmo and Jasmine Trias seemed very similar to me--immature voices and oversinging almost to the point of shouting a lot of the time. I wonder if they sound different live? Jasmine had some pitch issues, and Diana had no body on her low notes--they were almost inaudible. Also, we have yet to hear Diana sing at anything other than volume level 11. As far as Jasmine goes, I think the judges were bewitched by her Lovely Hula Hands.
Amy Adams had some pitch issues, and just tried to sound too pretty. I appreciate that she didn't belt the whole song (a la Diana Degarmo), which shows some maturity, but backing off into total pretty head voice on the high parts just sounds weird. And her personality has not come through in her singing for her last couple of performances.
Matt Rogers has great charisma, but his voice lacks a certain suppleness and flexibility. He has always sounded better to me in the little snippets of him singing out of the presence of the judges, goofing off for his friends, etc. I don't know if being on stage makes his voice tighten up (much as he seems to love it), or if it's permanent.
Camile Velasco just plain old lacks confidence. Simon hit the nail on the head on this one. And I'm not sure she has it in her to really develop into a confident performer.
Leah Labelle has a really wide vibrato for someone so young. I don't know if it's an affectation or a side effect of trying to sound too mature too young, but it makes it harder for her to stay centered on pitch. She had problems there, and in general confidence level. Her performance tonight was totally boring.
And lastly, John Stevens. It was good that he didn't try to sing a soul song in a soul style, which would have been disastrous. The thing is, Randy is totally right. John loves the old standards singers, but he just doesn't have the chops to compare with them. Not even close. He is consistently under pitch, and his vibrato is warbly. I love his red hair too, but he just can't sing that well.
I think Simon's right, and Leah Labelle will probably go. The audience has already shown that it doesn't really like her--she wasn't even in the top three in her group of 8 (Jon Peter beat her out there), and she wasn't the audience pick from the wild card (again, Jon Peter).

P-town would be/is proud!
I'm sure, however, that Northampton, MA is disappointed - oh, to fall behind both P-town and the South End!
