Will they bring in Ronan Tynan to sing his 20 minute version of god bless america, too?

Indians to have Beckett's ex-girlfriend sing national anthem
Um...as a swarm of friggin' Lake Erie locusts effectively knocked the Yankees from the playoffs, I might lay off the Ronan "Ice the Kicker" Tynan comments

Oh, stop it. I realize it's not a statistically significant sample, but you'd think there'd be at least one at a gym in a very white-collar, young professional people area of the west side of LA.

Maybe I should get a week pass to the really fancy new place near here, and see whether CAA people take it all off.

I have gotten shaves with a straight razor. Hank's experience is not typical with a barber who knows what he's doing and isn't in his dotage. On the other hand, they are sharp as hell and cut like a motherfucker if you don't know how to use one, so they are to be treated with respect.

I know there are high-end men's salons in Chicago and NYC that offer razor shaves, but they can run over $50. I would be very surprised to find that DC didn't have at least one place that offers them.

Come on--you know that's what you get when you build a ballpark next to the ocean.

I will watch with your sister. I'll even bring coffee.

wow. you guys think the Indians are capable of directing a swarm of short lived bugs from a lake and centering them on the head of a guy in the middle of a large open fields surrorunded by 30,000 people with sweet smelling beer and hot dogs? that would be impressive.

Me, I can't even convince Fringey to tidy up properly "down there".

I only tiddy up (make things smooth and shinny) for those worthy of it.

Actual fashion post

With short hair, Angelina looks a little like an older Jessica Alba.

Tried there. They don't use straight razors.

have you had the ginger sweet tofu? it's kind of thin slices of very watery tofu, then a sweet ginger sauce poured on, you eat it like a soup. It is my new favorite sweet dim sum.
