And sheesh, after all these years, you would think she would know I don't live in NY or any of the areas affected. And if I did live in those areas, I wouldn't be on line, which not only makes her a fucking ingrate, but stupid.
That's right STUPID.
I hate her. God I hate her.
Be gentle? Oh...right...never mind.

You could always "change" that password again.

I think it is worse that she flamed you, and even worse she outed that you moved to Cleveland, though I would wonder, why would anyone want to move to Cleveland?
Maybe you are stupid too?
I'm just sayin.

That also being said, everyone can hear some differences - you don't need to be a "trained ear." Hell, the speakers that Chandler Bing and Joey had in their apartment were about $5000/pair. And that's chicken feed in the grand scheme of things. Of course they had no electronics but that's neither here nor there.
Also, if you're going to invest in the electronics, you're absolutely stupid not to invest in the best surge suppressor/line conditioner you can afford. Those people in New York will be sad to find out that when the power comes back on, a lot of their electronics will have blown out. The service departments will be packed with people with dead computers, TV's and stereos from the surge - all which could have been avoided with a $100 (NOT $10) surge protector. NO, I don't work for a surge protector company, but have many many friends in "the business."

I prefer the PS Audio products. For a mere several k, you can have a power unit that takes the crap wall AC power, turns it into DC power, then reconverts into pure sine wave AC power that is regulated to the volt. It's like champagne for your electronics.
That's what the review says anyway. It's like lifting a blanket off the car horn at the beginning of Runnin With The Devil. So it should be worth it right there, no?

Honey, I'm so stupid I moved to NYC. But I'm in DC on business and working out of the local office so I have power. Yay me, except that if I were in NYC I would not be expected to be at work, so boo me, but then I'd have to walk home in crowds and that'd suck so yay me.

Not advertising, just know stuff about stereos and cars.
They were Martin Logans. I was jonesing for a few years for Martin Logans. With the right system and the right wires, they sound very open and clear. And then Joey and Chandler got a pair (after Joey got locked in the cabinet and the whole apartment was robbed). Unfortunately I don't have the right room configuration for them (I'm telling you I have tons and tons of friends in the business) so I decided to jones for a different pair. I also know how much a Porsche Turbo costs with/without metallic paint. Means nothing to most people.

But just think, you would be part of a moment in history, and when people would say, do you remember the big blackout of 03 you can say, "remember it, please bitch, I was right there, walking in the streets."

They require placement too far out in the room. They are really nice, but I thought the bass response was a bit thin for my tastes on all but the high end MLs. Maybe some classic Apogee Duettas? I stick to the creaminess of the Vandersteen 2ce sig or 3A, unless you are in Fabio territory with those jacked out $100k speakers (yea right).

Fuck off. We will not change the calendar, the heavens, and my drinking plans just to suit the whims of some fickle drunk ho bitch in bum-fuck nowhere who has ignored us for so long and is probably now wiping her fat greasy fingers on the screen.

Now that I am from NYC, I am not so gauche as to say "please bitch" -- I say "bitch please." You are such a patch-dweller.

Bitch, please.
I'm amazed that the FB hasn't broken out into a full-on bitchfest about TM and Slave now that they aren't here to defend themselves. Must not be Friday yet.
