So my youngest boy is going to this little nature camp thing at the Audubon Center in my area. They go and catch frogs, look for bugs, and whatever.
On the first day, I notice that one of the mothers seems to be attending the camp, too, but sitting on the outskirts of the group. I bid the offspring goodbye and go home to do some weedin'!
When I pick up said offspring, the counselors inform me that he's a bit exuberant for the group, so I'm going to need to stay each day to make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble. Swell.
So this other mother and I kind of sit on the edges of the action and intervene as necessary. She's a very attractive blonde woman -- attractive in a wholesome way and sort of keeps to herself. [Brief aside -- in one of our conversations, she reveals that she is home schooling her child, but I can't quite write her off as a nutjob, because she seems pretty normal -- and she also looks verrrrrry familiar to me.]
Other-mother looks so familiar to me, that I check the sign out sheet to see if I recognize her name. It's Jennifer something-or-other (no bells go off) and I decide it's just another case of not quite remembering how I know someone. But it's really bothering me. Today, I almost asked her if she's an actress, because everything about her is so familiar -- her voice, her face, her demeanor -- but I just am not recognizing her. Thank god I didn't ask her. Instead, I invite her child for a play date. We're on.
On the drive home, it finally dawns on me!! She's ELIZABETH BENNET FROM THE A&E VERSION OF PRIDE & PREJUDICE!!!! OK, she's been in other stuff too, but PRIDE & PREJUDICE!!! She's Mr. Darcy's former girlfriend!!!
Suddenly, everything clicks into place and things she's told me remind me of details that I've read about her (e.g., her being from North Carolina).
Elizabeth Bennet is coming to my house!!!
(She wears a brown wig in P&P.)

I thought that she was one of the most beautiful women I'd ever seen when I saw her in Possession.

I liked the movie quite a bit, but I have a crush on Aaron Eckhart, so that was a major contributing factor to my positive inclinations towards the movie. I generally don't like Gwenyth Paltrow, but she didn't overly annoy me.
I was really surprised at how much I loved Jennifer Ehle, though. I'd never heard of her before, but she totally captivated me. Part of it is that she (or at least the way she played that character, I've never seen her in anything else) reminded me in a lot of ways of a friend of mine that I'd marry if we were both lesbians.
I later read the book and found it to be better than the movie, but I still watch the DVD from time to time.

At least he (Ray) spent the last 2 years injured a lot. And it's not like giving away a Jason Richardson. Who's idea was that?

Except GP was largely regarded a a dick. Talented, sure, bu a dick. I've never heard anything bad about Ray-Ray.
Ayway, let's hope Seattle, or Oklahoma City, or Las Vegas, enjoys its small forwards. Durant>>Green>Wally. Nice.
Go Blazers!

Vodka/Timesheets
There is no issue with sitting with a tumbler* full of vodka while doing one's time, right? Even if one is in a room by oneself in the dark, right? Does it help if one added a splash of homemade limoncello?
Just asking for a friend.
*Tumbler=plastic child's drink glass (not a sippy cup though)

Heh. Laid.
Canada is a very sexy country.

If you go to Pure, ncs can get YOU in for free...but THIS TIME SHE HAS TO PAY. Also, be sure you dress alike and do your hair in the same way so that you can easily recognize other members of your group.
I would love to attend the party also, but alas, I cannot. Curses.

I'm confused. Are you asking if the tumbler is okay? So long as the bottle is nearby for refills any recepticle is acceptable for vodka. What does the time have to do with anything?
I am really confused.

I want to come, too. Especially if the strap-on chin dildo will be making an appearance.
