Now that's the kind of righteous indignation that shows you for the classy dude you are, even if you have become bridge and tunnel people.

2 + 2 = Paul Lynde was a gay, Mr. Bilmore

2. Heard from those in the know, he wanted to be in the sequel, Ben(d) Him.

4. Short title for Bye Bye Birdie -- Hello, Birdie, Bye Bye Birdie -- Hello, Birdie. etc.

Once again, Irrefutable truth that the "E! True Hollywood Story: Hollywood Squares" is a reliable source.

Care to retract your previous statements, Mr. Bilmore?

That is a good idea. We don't after all have to use the same logo for everything.

What do you say MR, want to draw us some funny logo stuck figury things?

One bizarre part of being raised in Toronto (and there are many) is that I always associate "Moe Greene" with Harold Ramis' SCTV character. It wasn't until Grade 13 that I actually saw Godfather and made the connection.

Every day is a homage to you, oh Queen of the Board. My apologies if I did not give you the proper attribution, (and props to Margaret Cho.)

I restate:

I am not CTD.

I am not obsessed with gay people.

I rarely watch E!

I have too much time on my hands today for a change.

Ghostbar was actually fun when I went. Huge, huge line, but a friend of mine had the hook up. Lines are for suckers.

Half the bar is indoors. The other half of the bar is on a huge deck. There is a glass floor near the edge that you can stand on and look directly down the side of the building. The view is amazing and everyone in there is good looking or trying very hard to be. Alas, most of the girls had implants and I don't think any of them were from Connecticut, so it might not be your scene.

Thank you for the correction. Of course Julia Ormond would suffer by comparison to Juliet Binoche (who really is too wordly/earthy to play innocent Sabrina anyway), let alone to Audrey Hepburn.

My brain is shot. I can't remember anything anymore and I am reduced to spelling Yiddish words phonetically.

I have no information on whether Sal Tessio took the cannoli, as it were, NTTAWWT. But if he did, who could blame him? Everybody in that movie was a pervert. Sonny didn't want Michael to come out of the men's room with "just" his dick in his hands. Why on earth would a grown man be worried that his brother might emerge into a restaurant while holding his genitalia? And Luca Brasi slept with fishes, that sick fuck.

But the most disturbing thing about that movie is that after we are assured in very clear terms that Moe Greene is dead, he shows up as Nancy McKeon's father on "The Facts of Life." Talk about posthumous conception.
Serious Godfather II question:

Why does the presence of Frankie Plantaglea's brother at the Senate hearing make him (Frankie) decide not to testify?

Michael's explanation of "It was between the brothers, Kate" doesn't quite clear it up for me.

Is there some parallel between Michael/Fredo and Frankie/his brother that we're supposed to draw?

Michael flew Frankie's brother in from the old country to be present at the hearing, because Frankie had agreed to witness protection and was going to rat out Michael and the rest of the family. The implication was that Michael was going to whack the brother if Frankie did so, nothing more.

I don't think there was any parallel between the Michael/Fredo or Frankie and his brother other than Michael had no problems with fratricide.

FWIW, I think the insufficiency of Michael's explanation to Kay had more to do with the fact that she under no circumstances (except for the one time at the end of The Godfather) was supposed to ask him about his business. Even then, he lied to her. I think he was basically saying, "Shut the fuck up, I told you never to ask me about my business again."

And, BTW, my artistic abilities have vastly improved since I drew that picture. Primarily because I traded the crappy laptop touch pad in for a mouse.
