Sign stealing
The Blue Jays are being accused of having a runner on second base stealing signs and communicating them to the batter. Perhaps I'm biased because they're my home town team, but I've never understood why this is particularly frowned upon in baseball. I could understand a team being upset if a home team had some technology-driven sign stealing scheme that gave them an unfair advantage, but here, both teams have the same opportunity to get a guy on second base and have him try to interpret and communicate the signs. Why is this not simply "doing everything you can to win the game?" I don't get it.

You can just make a donation to the board, if you want.

I have come to believe that there is no place on earth, including a deserted island, where one could avoid hearing the first three tracks of the Joshua Tree.

Good point. That frees up a pick for The Flower, so I guess I haven't won yet.

I kind of assume marriage to a gay man would make you look that way for quite some time.

I think everyone tries to do it. When it works, then people get pissed. When it's obvious, your guys get plunked. But I'm with you. Why the fuck would they need signs in the first place if the guy on second wasn't trying to steal them?
