Dude. It's not a competition.
And actually, it's not eight states, now that I actually take a momement to think about a map. Two states are all that seperate our home states (even avoiding fucking Arkansas). Practically next door.
Eh, you're right. I am pathetic.

About how many states it actually is...
I think it's 5.
Which I guess makes me even lower than JV, if that's possible. But I'm not complaining.

This really did make me laugh out loud, particularly recalling this gem from last night:

I mean, seriously, I don't even know where to begin.

Here's what really bothered me about this game, and about lots of other NFL games. Why do coaches who have the superior team often try to "shorten the game," even when it's a close game. I think that the longer the game, i.e., the more plays that are run, would increase the more talented team's chances of winning.* So why does this always happen? Especially when I have a financial interest in the outcome?
*For a corrollary, I think it is self-evident that if tennis sets went to a tiebreak after 2 games, there would be a greater chance of upsets then if they went to a tiebreak after 20 games.

disagree. Sing-ha is Thai for Tsing-Tao, which is Chinese for Corona, which is Spanish for Budweiser.
That said, with some spicy Thai food, I'd eagerly knock back several Buds.

Might as well start a "favorite beer" poll. I promise to try everyone's posted nominee.
Mine is (and may the Canadian Gods not strike me down for saying so) Anderson Valley Poleeko Gold.

Do you really think these corrigendum posts are the way to attract newbers?

If you are interested...
I have slideshows of the hurricane and related damage (including some hellishly cute shots of the Brazenette) up on Kodakgallery.com ... if anyone wants the link, just PM me an email addy.
