Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!! I got the 2.1 system at Best Buy tonight, hooked em up and I'm surrounded in glorious, booming, subwoofered bass, with Aguilera singing Beautiful. Oh, and aint it! Thanks, Man!!!

My elevator tells me the same thing!
I don't think we ever used Fish & Richardson.

And swipe or no swipe on this old school Flame Friday, I do not think that you are a dumbass. Your posts lately have been fantastique. I'm converting to fringeyism.

Fringe, does this mean you're through with Hank?

You guys have pretty good music taste, eh? I'm looking for songs to download for one collection that have in common that they are "ASS KICKING SONGS" or the kind that inspire drunken, white-boy slam dancing or other raucous, alcohol-fueled behavior. Right now, I have stuff like "Should I Stay..." by the Clash and "The Real Me" (Quadrophenia, oh those drums). Oh, and we're looking for fairly mainstream stuff, not some obscure bullshit. Which means Paigow's on Ignore (sorry, biatch).

Mystery solved. I was just in my elevator and it told me that Fish is counsel to Captivate Network. Ya know, the tv's in elevators people. It is probably a win-win for Fish and Captivate to have those annoying ads on. Captivate looks like they are getting quality advertisers and Fish tells millions of people everyday that Fish Does It Right for some sort of discount I'm sure.

I'm also told by some of my clients that Fish not only does it right, but if you can't pay them, they threaten to file a security interest on any IP that they've worked on for you. How nice!

The Cult's "Sanctuary" is a good standby. I'm also partial to the Smashing Pumpkins' "Frail & Bedazzled." You might try Ministry's "So What?" also.
Is this an internet bf or irl bf?

Potential for a lot of conflict this year. How could they schedule Lyle Lovett and Black Crowes at the same time? I'm sure Sebby has some duct tape I can borrow.

Are you guys on the Courtney Love prescriptions against pain program? Because my elevators don't "say" anything.

Ceremony is a better pick from the Cult. Or anything from Alice in Chains. Or Queensryche.
Or Foo Fighters.

Really? You are Captivate-free? No wonder you spend so much time during the day on the CNN website. All my news now comes from either The Daily Show or the blurbs on the Captivate Network in my elevator.
Today I saw the blurb that sebby discussed yesterday relating to french fries and cancer and I agree it is hooey. And the nice part is all news is condensed into 20-word soundbites.

I wish I had TVs in my elevators. *sniff*
ETA and I hadn't even read your follow-up post in which you point out that you get all your news from the elevator TVs. Like I used to. When I worked in a place with TVs in the elevator. Which I don't anymore.
There's a flatscreen in the lobby with CNN or C-Span or something on constantly, but I only pass through. I guess it's nice for the security people.
