Then you need to add some asterisks and a catchy quote like "what happens at ACL stays at ACL!"

That won't be necessary if RT has sex in the shower with the hot backhoe guy.

Speaking of showers, RT, I believe you owe us a story about your sister's second date with birthday boy.

Sadly, no. No one associated with this project is remotely hot. The only advantage is that hot guys who come to my house after this whole thing is over and done with will no longer have to cross a cess pool/moat to get to me. However, the city is doing everything in its power to ensure that my house is inaccessable to hot guys, and anyone else who may want to come, between now and the completion of the project.

Indeed. Carry on.*

*I'd say "Tally Ho!", but I'm not sure I can pull that one off.

Well, that and the roast beef thing.

We didn't mind the moat so much.

You, madam, are hereby inducted into the DTB Hall of Fame (not going to state each of the criteria here, because I don't want everyone trying out at once, and because one of them is that you can't be TRYING to get in.)

But make no mistake -- it is an honor, indeed.

On topic (!) article on Birkins & court appearances

http://www.nytimes.com/2004/04/18/fashion/18BIRK.html

[NYT fashion advice - don't take your Birkin to court. Spree warning - uses the word "classy," just in case anyone needed evidence of the NYT's middle-to-lower-middle class target audience.]

Just Another 'WTF?' Moment

Opened a fresh can of Pringles (tm) to have a few chips with the sandwich for lunch yesterday. Can has one of those freshness seals on it.

Said freshness seal has printed on it, in largish type, repeating, 'MADE IN THE USA".

Did the Chinese threaten to take over the salted snack food market too, and I just missed it, or what is this all about?

I'm not sure you weren't making some joke that I'm not getting here, but I did see it, and thought it wasn't as uproarisouly funny as his prior stand-up shows. Don't get me wrong, there were definitely gut-busting moments (the bit about the tv's in the headrests was particularly amusing), but I thought there was a lot of shouting and not as much funny stuff.

I did miss the first 15 minutes or so, which I hope to catch on "HBO on Demand" tonight (I think it's on there, anyway), so maybe there are some jewels in that segment.

A solid B+, but not the home runs his other shows were.

No, they're targeting the freshness seal market.

Maybe they are trying to get Pringles featured on John Ratzenberger's new show Made in America. Anyone else seen this? He basically drives around the country in an RV doing 15 minute commercials for various products that are (you guessed it) made in America. I saw the Vermont Teddy Bear Company feature. I wanted to change the channel, but Mr Man was enthralled to learn how Teddy Bears were made. Great marketing for the featured companies, I guess. Previews for Rawlings and Fleer were both featured recently. And seems like a perfect gig for Cliffy.

Interesting that she now seems to be with Hank instead. Seeing Hank's picture explains some of those typos.
