Colors aren't bad, but one has to be reasonable. I'd go with the grey or black, but if the color works, the red might be nice. Navy would be okay, as would a heather blue or brown.

People generally sweat when they work out, or at least they should if they are doing it right. Therefore, anything "heather" is a bad call. I abhor seeing women in, for example, grey bike shorts with sweat spots on the crotch and butt crack. Really not a good look. Ditto for men with the armpit stains.

I am a workout outfit snob. Who knew?

Well DUH on the apple green maybe not being an old-man color, but there were plenty of dark, relatively boring colors on that page.
