Someone in my company's son plays for Miami. He and I were just discussing the situation and he reported to me that the son is pissed. "You don't retire at the beginning of the season. You retire at the end of the season. The only thing you do at the beginning of the season is quit." I imagine that the rest of the team feels similarly.

I should be reading to the end but I am lazy.

Our little Ricky had a second strike drug penalty looming for the beginning of the season (four weeks without pay). It's not a big deal, but he's acknowledged "drinking" a masking agent to hide his continued dope smoking. Funny, I would have thought the goldenseal my father and all his yuppie buddies pop would have done the trick. Regardless, Ricky is and has always been a different kind of cat.

I hope he enjoys his return to his dope-smoking days of being publicly fellated by co-eds. Austin has certainly missed his particular brand of freakiness.
