Married By America
Okay, since I effectively killed the Board, here's a change in topic:
Who's off next on Married by America?
Jill and Kevin
Billie Jean, Tony, and her pixilated ass
Denise, Stephen, and their piles of baggage

Actually, I noticed yesterday when flipping through my digital cable web guide to find out when the openning day game was today (Go Os!), that there is Battlestar Galactica marathon on SciFi RIGHT NOW (Monday afternoon). To increase the cheeziness of this, I should add that it is not the original Battlestar Galactica, but rather Galatica 1980 that is showing, the follow-up show after they get to Earth (and leading the Cylons to us - thanks a lot) with various pseudo-renditions of the original cast (kind of like the last season of the Dukes of Hazzard).
-balt(when I was little, I had the Cylon fighter and the Galactica Viper fighter, both with working firing missles that my parents eventually took away from me because some stupid kid in Iowa choked on them and died and people said they were unsafe)assoc

Whether anything is groundbreaking is not the point.
The old board contains a part of our community's history and that history is worth preserving.

We are both glad to be home, and are settling in nicely.

Many congrats, B'n'B. I am happy for you and Dad.
Now, some unsolicited advice. Yes, I know they're cute and sweet and you can't even begin to imagine not wanting the little bugger.... But remeber, market value decreases by 90% the minute they learn to say "NO"

Old baord as in FL? There is a LOT of good stuff in there but how do you sift through it?
E/O -- proving she cannot talk and post at the same time.

At this point, we are just grabbing from the most recent resting place, not FL.
Ultimately, I would love to preserve all of our history. I know many people have gone back and saved some of their favorite posts, but it would be great to have everything in one place.

So, we've just had an E/O-Paigow self-outing?
It's a bit counterintuitive, but I suppose anything is possible . . .

I think E/O fixed the code for her avatar with her mod privileges. No outing...

I tried to respond to her post.
But, having mod privileges, I accidently edited it to include my response.
Discovering my error, I restored her post through the handy "back" arrow and listed that I had been the editor.
Then I posted my response.

Hey guys! I have finally registered and gotten my moniker all ready to go. Been busy lately, and everytime I checked in it seemed the board had already moved (NTTAWWT--thanks to all who have contributed so tirelessly to this effort). So anyway, look forward to enjoying our new home.
And E/O, getting some of our more priceless threads from FL is, I think, worth the time and effort. I have some ideas and will PM you to volunteer.
Glad to be back! :sportswav
