Growing up as a VW owner, we were among the most broken into, but not stolen. That was because of the non-factory stereos. One time they used a crowbar to pry my passenger door handle off, costing me/my insurance co. (literally) thousands of dollars for a $100 stereo and an antiquated radar detector. Hey, fuckers, just break the fucking window.

Sorry, I left out the obligatory cite. That's what makes this list different. It goes by how many cars on the road v. # of steals. Kind of an odds game. HIgher for Escalade than Camry (due to sheer numbers).
