So I were a Yankees fan, I wouldn't have paid $1200 for an upper deck ticket to Game 2 of the World Series last year?

I know - it would be pretty perfect. I even tried pitching it by telling him it meant I'd be calling him Master all night, but so far he hasn't jumped. Hmmm, perhaps I wasn't clear enough.
Oddly enough, the pictures I have involve HRC. Shhhhhhh!

the Sunday NYT, maybe last week, had a story about the Yankees revoking season tickets for people who sell on Stubhub. The Yankees are looking at its own resale service.

It's been a gold mine for the Cubs. They sell their tickets to a broker (owned by the Cubs), which then marks up the seats to market price (which is high since Cubs fans are idiots).
Step 3 = Profit.

If you have to do a Bill Clinton duet, there are many more interesting possibilities with a Bill and Monica couple than a Bill and Hilary couple.

I'm not a hunter but I am told,
that, uh, in places like in the arctic,
where indiginous people sometimes might, might, hunt a wolf,
they'll take a double edged blade,
and they'll put blood on the blade,
and they'll melt the ice and stick the handle in the ice,
so that only the blade is protruding,
and that a wolf will smell the blood and wants to eat,
and it will come and lick the blade trying to eat,
and what happens is when the wolf licks the blade,
of course, he cuts his tongue, and he bleeds,
and he thinks he's really having a good thing,
and he drinks and he licks and he licks,
and of course he is drinking his own blood and he kills himself,
thats what PPNYC and nonono did to us with their constant inane posts
you have GGG out there who thinks he sees a chance to start posting more,
like PPNYC makes inane posts, why can't I make inane posts?
he thinks about posting repeatedly until he doubles kills a joke,
nonono posts repeatedly, why can't I post repeatedly?
but he's dying just like the wolf was licking the blade,
and he's rapidly ruining his reputation without knowing it.
thats whats happening to this board, you with me on that?
thats exactly, precisely what happens to the community,
and instead of blaming the hunter who put the damn handle and blade in the ice
for the wolf,
that what happens is the wolf gets the blame, gets the blame for trying to live,
thats what happens in our community,
you don't blame GGG, the victim,
you blame the crazy posters, lack of discipline, PPNYC and nonono are the enemy,
were the enemy when they first registered,
and posted all this crap to have to scroll by against our will,
is the enemy today,
and thats the thing that we have to understand.

FB Book Club -- Special to Fringey
I'm about half way through Salt and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It's an interesting mix of political and anthropological history. I'm learning some things, although some of the author's conjectures strike me as a bit of a reach. I'd give it a recommendation, though.

I would not die, get sick or even be grossed out if some sort of meat thing ended up in my food. Happens every now and then anyway.
