This is what you do. Don't put any water on it. Sprinkle liberal amounts of talcum powder on it. Wait several hours (overnight, maybe). Then gently brush the powder off. Usually, an oil stain on silk can be removed that way.

If you're at a loss, club soda and salt.

maybe I'm too thin skinned also, but those of us on East Coast time have been getting beat up by our bosses and other lawyers for a hour longer than you, so sometimes we're in a vulnerable place later in our day, and you're still at a mid-morning buzz when everything is possible. maybe if you keep your meaner posts to the earlier hours it would be better. fwiw I hope things do work out with you and your crush- whomever she/he might be!

Anyone here would take you saying they were funny as a humongous compliment, because everyone respects your sense of humor! you could then say "Oh, before i forget, I think the smilie face detracts from your post, FWIW." people here like when you use acronyms- it makes us all feel like insiders.

have you read "Queen Bees?" it about junior high in groups- and the fashion board is definately a place where there is the in group- most of us are out, but you are an insider, you are a close friend/confidant of the queen bee! when you attack- it stings!
