Oscar doesn't know yet. I'm still getting used to it. I'm not sure if I have to go out and buy a Subaru now.

I've been trying to run them out for years - it looks like it's finally working. Perhaps RT can squash a few in her new Subaru.
On an unrelated note - RT, I found the name and number of a Licensed Perinatal Massage Therapist if you still need one. Let me know - she comes much recommended from my knocked up friends.

For the obvious reason alone, or are you going to need a off-road vehicle to leave your driveway after you break the news to him?

Hmmm. That's a good question. I already have an SUV that has been able to traverse a lot of rubble, but I'm not sure it conveys my newfound lesbian status as well as the Subaru.

The only thing that will convey your newfound lesbian status is video. Or at least photos. Posted on the adult board. Or e-mailed to me (oliver_wendell_ramone@yahoo.com). Nothing else will do. Really.

Slap one of these on the rear window. Done.
Incidentally, while looking for that, I turned up this:

As you already have an SUV, the obvious thing is to go the other way and get the most girly-girl car you can find. Texas must be the Mary Kay capital of the world -- maybe you can get a used pink car.

another dumb law student
The FBI says law student Stephen C. Jackson tried to launder loot from a bank robbery at a Lakewood car wash.
Jackson, 35, charged Tuesday with conspiracy and bank robbery in the armed holdup of a Westlake bank, was arrested Aug. 18 near the Ultimate Car Wash on Detroit Avenue in Lakewood.
He was feeding ink-stained $10s, $5s and $1s into a bill changer, police said.
Police said they suspect that the cash came from Charter One bank on Clifton Boulevard in Cleveland, which was robbed at 9:30 that morning by three masked, gun-wagging people, and that it turned red when a dye pack exploded.
According to a police report, when Patrolman Daniel Hilfiker pulled into the car wash, Jackson dashed across the parking lot, jingling and dropping quarters from his pockets as he ran.
"He was leaving a trail of quarters," Lakewood police Lt. Tony Ciresi said.
Hilfiker grabbed Jackson by the hood of his jacket. It peeled off and thudded to the ground. In the left pocket, police found $226.50 in quarters and, in the right, $231 in quarters.
Besides 23 pounds of quarters weighing him down, Jackson was toting $1,040 in ink-stained bills in a plastic bag. Police said they found $1,145 more in tainted bills in a tan bag in the glove box of a Cadillac Catera that was registered to Jackson and parked at the car wash.

"The FBI's Hawk said Jackson identified himself as a student at Cleveland State University's Cleveland-Marshall College of Law."
Hmmm. Interesting. By the crass behavior described above, I would have guessed we were dealing with a Yalie! Ha!

Everyone is fully aware of the fact that you are the darling of the fb timmy world, and that most of the fb men cherish that picture of your avatar that they keep in their Strunk & White and regularly peak at when their door is closed. But I think you are starting to take us for granted when you submit posts like this. We want posts that show your mellifluous ability with the word, that fully demonstrate your adroit command of the twists and turns grammar may take, and that scale the Faulkneresque heights of linguistic virtuosity. And instead, you're telling us to just keep on walkin' and spend your time dissing a poster who keeps giving.

Sorry to be tardy with this response, but may I suggest you start by learning the difference between "peak" and "peek"?
Is that better?

Tax Advice Needed!!
So, is there any way to avoid capital gains taxes on the sale of a non-primary residence? I have heard that the answer is a big fat no, however, I'm hopeful that one of my learned (no, no Pepe, it's pronounced "luuuuhrned") colleagues from the FB (Hey! Stop laughing!) will find a handy-dandy loophole from this, the cruelest cut of all.
Taxes suck.

I think no, but if you think about the exclusion for the primary residence as kind of a big fat tax break, maybe it will hurt less having to pay the taxes on fun/investment property.
ETA and consider yourself lucky to be HAVING capital gains instead of just barely being able to get enough to pay off your outstanding mortgage.
ETA2 not that I'm bitter or experiencing this right now or anything.

Hey nimble nuts, my old study group and I might look down our noses at Yale, or U Penn or the other Ivys but we would never confuse an Ivy with Cleveland State or whatever prairie school you attended.
I'm serious- be honest- you looked at Criminal Procedure as vocational training, right?
