Said while looking from the 2d tier to the 1st tier. 1st tier doesn't do complaints. We just collect clients and checks and let the lower tiers do all the work. We worry about the car, the boat, the handicap and what's for dinner at the club, not whether some complaint has a typo.

did you ever see Being There? We need to prune back dead branches in the winter to make room for fresh growth in the spring.

This morning I happened to be looking at old old posts for a particular reason and I came across the fight between spookyfish and surprising allies rp and paigow regarding why "hag" is a more offensive term than bitch or cunt. Ah those crazy, fun-drenched days of yore when we debated the relative value of derogatory terms for entertainment. Sigh. |

Weird--I was doing and thinking the same thing this morning, but I was recalling that it was Atticus who admitted to getting pleasure from the swabbing. Maybe one of them can magically reappear and set us straight?
And FWIW, I only stick Q-tips in there during allergy season, and not to clean but to swab hydrocortisone cream to quell the itching that can lead to abrasion that can lead to otitis externa (it's happened before, and it sucked).
