MIAMI -- If he's interested, the 26-year-old Chicago fan who deflected a foul ball away from a Cubs outfielder in Game 6 of the NL Championship Series can find solace in Florida.
Gov. Jeb Bush said Wednesday an offer of asylum might be a good idea, and an oceanfront retreat in Pompano Beach is offering the man a free three-month stay, should he deem it necessary to get out of Chicago until the hubbub over the popup cools down.
The fan, whom The Associated Press was holding off naming for fears of his safety, would also receive free airfare and other perks, all provided by the Holiday Inn Oceanside Pompano Beach.
Also included in the offer are free steak dinners, free martinis, even a free water taxi ride.
"(It's) the least we could do for the fan that saved our season," said Phil Goldfarb, president of the Holiday Inn Pompano Beach. "As dedicated Marlins fans, it is our honor to return the favor."

Is there going to be a death pool on this kid? Watching the story unfold will be the ultimate reality TV show. Much better than the canned cat crap that Hollywood churns out.

The Cubs better win tonight for this guy's sake... Otherwise all of the above WILL be necessary. You would not believe how ugly the talk about this guy is today. He really should fear for his safety.

I envision the chase scene from the Blues Brothers playing out again soon. What are people saying (or what have you "heard" that people are saying)?

The theory is that sex with multiple partners is consistent with the alleged victim's bleeding. If that's likely, or even possible, the panties and the boy juice inside is relevant.

Hey. The smack is what makes it livable.
Don't knock it until you've tried it.

If I've been paying attention, NFH lives in San Francisco, not in that dump Seattle. I know it all looks the same from the Right Coast, but there's a world of different. For starters, women are much better looking here, and smarter.
