PMs do not work like instant messages or even popup ads. Interface-wise, they are organized like your email inbox and the messages themselves look like the posts you'd see in a thread, except that they are not concatenated. Composing a PM is much like composing a post. The only popup window you might get if you get a PM is a window that says that you have a new message and asks you whether you want to open it -- this feature can be disabled in the user options menu such that you won't have anything popping up. You can alternatively choose to be notified of the arrival of new PMs by email.
In other words, if you've been able to post on the FB and not get busted by the IT folks, then it's unlikely that there would be a problem when you use PMs.

So's Manny.
Pitching in and challenging batters is an integral part of how both Roger and Pedro pitch. It's psychological warfare up there. Even when they are pitching against other teams they use the same tactics.
I know Zimm had a bad experience way back when, but he's been around the game long enough to know what these guys are trying to do when they throw a brush back pitch. Hopefully neither team will give him a reason to leave his seat.

Speaking of done, is B.H. Kim on the Sox roster for this series?

Yeah, that long-ball potential from the 9-slot helps you out a lot in the AL.
Yes, Kim, the Yankees' best friend, is inactive for his "sore shoulder."

Dear Pretermitted Child:
Given that Ernaldo aka Paul of Sligo has already publicly accused me of being the most boring uneventful state in the whole USA, and warned others that if one spends even a small amount of time in New Jersey there is a real danger that they will go mad because there is nothing to do in such a suburban dump (see http://www.virtualtourist.com/m/5b835/), I would ask that you please stay out of New Jersey too. Your posts are so friggin tiresome that you could only make the current situation worse.
Thanks.

Further, think of these things before you darken our doorstep:

It also has more Superfund sites than any other state.

Yes you do. Addressing the adult literacy crisis is a major goal of New Jersey. Positive family values, good schools and a vibrant community are an integral part of our efforts. In fact, New Jersey has taken more proactive measures than most states. New Jersey has mandated zero tolerance of illiterates in its public sector job ranks, and at all state sponsored events. The penalty is expulsion to their choice of Staten Island, Long Island or Kentucky.
In light of this policy and your history of posting, NFH, consider yourself prospectively expulsed. And take Pretermitted child with you. No need to let us know the choice, just go there until further notice.
Yours truly,
New Jersey

Yes. But I've heard there are some excellent condos in South Amboy. And I've heard rumors of a high speed fairy, but these are unconfirmed.

ferry update
With deep regret I must inform you, the fb denizens, that the SI ferry captain did not commit suicide after the accident, as I had initially reported. I will understand if from this point forward you are unable to believe anything that I post. Trust is very important in the context of an anonymous chat board, and I fear that I have lost all of yours. This is killing me, but your anger and disappointment is completely understandable. I fear after this snafu that even New Jersey, the armpit of the country, may not wish to associate with me. NJ, I am sorry. Really.
Actually I wonder if I have any pills lying around here. Or maybe a gun. No, I can't do messy. Pills seem like they would be better. Anyone know what combination of Tums, aspirin and Zyrtek will do me in? Feel free to PM me with a good pill cocktail. Oh, and I could wash them down with some delicious Ciroc grape vodka. That should definitely help. Glad I picked that up last week.
Anyway, again I apologize. If I'm still around tomorrow you can be sure that cnn will be getting an angry letter from yours truly. Think I'll write a real letter and mail it to them instead of lazing out and e-mailing my complaint. That will surely make them take notice.
Despairingly yours,
ncs

Very classy P_C, although to be honest in New Jersey we like to follow the lead of our peace officers, who have an official rule that states, "Never use profanity." Obviously you would not cut it as a State Police Officer in New Jersey.
Notwithstanding that, we do not want you to think that as a general policy we are prejudiced against pretermitted children or aborted fetuses as we like to call them. New Jersey does not have any major types of abortion restrictions, i.e. no waiting periods, mandated parental involvement or limitations on publicly funded abortions, as may be found in other, less enlightened states.
Further, in New Jersey, there are no metropolitan areas that lack an qualified abortion provider. In fact, in the last census year, of 2000, there were a total of 86 abortion providers in New Jersey, which provided clean and efficient abortion services to 65,780 women, producing an impressive rate of over 36 abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age.
All in all, New Jersey celebrates the fact that abortion is a common and very natural experience, HOWEVER, it is the LAW in New Jersey that fetal remains are officially classified as medical waste, and as such subject to properly mandated removal and disposal. Given your status as a pretermitted child, New Jersey would have no choice but to remove you from its borders.
Sorry, but maybe California and its new governor would take you.
Yours truly,
New Jersey

If you have big hair and smell nice you can visit.
And wear make-up. Lots of make-up.
See you at shore,
