I would let it slide because I know you. Unless you really meant something by it, then I'd probably get a few shots in too...

I never mean anything by it. I just like to poke the bear from time to time.

Fuck it, I just want his ass to get kicked.

My goodness, that little rant was a bit too rehearsed to have just been made up at my expense. Or are we off our meds again, dear?

A combination of procrastination, cheesy poofs, and Spike TV lead to deep thoughts.

Anyway, I'm watching a James Bond movie on Spike (The World Is Not Enough -- wasn't that a sock for someone once?),
Oh, and I had a problem with the whole willing suspension of disbelief thingy with Denise Richards as a nuclear physicist. That one ain't the fault of the cheesy poofs, though.

Ah, but you also got to watch Sophie Marceau's lips. That makes up for a lot.

If yours wasn't the absolute next post, it would have gone up. But I saw you quote him, so I'm going to let it go. DS will be pleased that her eyes will receive no further trauma (today).

Survivor Results
SPOILERS

I didn't watch last night, and I don't typically watch much during the season until it gets down close to the finals (amazing how well cbs.com summaries keep you informed). However I just checked back with the realityblurred pre-season spoilers and everyone that they reported would be in the final 4/final 2 is still in the game right now. For those of you interested, the spoiler post is here -- http://www.realityblurred.com/realit...4_004213.shtml
[you have to affirmatively highlight the spoilers there if you want to see them]
At this point spoiler does not seem implausible... Maybe Less should make a bet or two with his reality tv bookie.

Well, to the surprise of no one, Leah "Labelle" was sent home tonight. In her final performance, she actually loosened up a little and sounded better than she had for quite a while. I still think she deserved to be sent home, though.
The big surprise was that Jennifer Hudson was in the bottom three. Maybe America remembers too well her bad eyeliner and scary outfits? Because certainly vocally she's in the top half of the final 12.
The group number and the cheesy videos showed more of the contestants, which was good for some and bad for others. It was a bad idea to start the group medley with the two white guys with zero rhythm. They rushed the tempo, and if it hadn't been such a short snippet, all might have been lost. George and the Hobbit sounded great together, though.
On the good side, Latoya showed a lot more personality, particularly in the footage of them getting to their house. And Diana Degarmo bugs me more and more. I didn't mention yesterday how boring I thought her "package" was. Sure, she's young and doesn't have a really complicated life, but Jasmine's young, too, and her "package" was hysterical. Hmph.
Another thing from tonight--Clay hit the first off-pitch note I've ever heard from him. He also seemed oddly nervous--his voice was shaking on the quiet parts of his song.

Leah Labelle is just a thoroughly unlikable kid so she went. I agree with whoever said that all the good black gospel soudning chicks are gonna cancel each other out except for one and that is bad news for Jennifer Crack Baby Hudson. I saw Less's odds thing and want to know if I can bet against Latoya coming in second?
ANd who is the white female? Diana Degarmo looks puerto rican to me. I knwo the mother is white but I bet the father isnt. Maybe its the hair dye>?
And Clay still is yuck. Solitaire is a truly great song in the right hands. See for example Sheryl Crow's version on "If I were a carpenter". Clay stll sounds like the entertainment on the Love Boat to me. I had to flip back to Survivor.
Speawking of which, why was it on on Wednesdxsay? I am lucking I stumbled across it or I would have missed it.

CBS is the NCAA tournament station. NCAA tournament starts today. Not sure if it will be on Wednesday next week too, but there is a definite possibility.

BIG UP TO MINNEAPOLIS HIP HOP!

I think you are more in the Yankee Magazine demographic than Spin, gramps.

Christ. I watched that David Spade movie when he steals her dog just for her. Pretty pathetic. The two women that Crazy Mel gets in Braveheart are just phenomenal.

Happy Family Zoo
So a Thailand zoo is raising a tiger, a pig and some golden retreivers together and they all seem to get along (granted, I see no frolicing). Here's the slideshow: http://www.nbc6.net/slideshow/290761...?qs=;s=1;w=320
The whole story sort of reminds me of lawtalkers, so I thought I'd post it here. Montecore? Reaction?
