For a mere $449, you can have the technology at home.

Something does not seem right about cooking in plastic.

The difference is that, in cooking, the withdrawal technique is 100% effective.

Re: Cocktail Party
Thanks for all of the great suggestions for food.
We had the cocktail party yesterday, which was a smashing success. Because of the LMA's scheduling snafu and my near-death experience, I opted out of cooking, instead ensuring we had enough champagne.
By the end of hour 4, we had switched to wine, and I had switched to cabbing home.
For my next party, filled, one would presume with a slightly different ratio of women to men than 4 to 1, food will be more important and I will look forward to preparing your suggestions.

Last winter, I was thinking about buying a car. He thought it made more sense to have me drive his weekend car since he was paying for it whether it was being driven or garaged and he was only driving it one or two days a week.
Over the summer, I car-shopped for something quasi-independent from him. He wanted to "finance" it for me at no interest (other than airport runs when he traveled, which aside from when he left for sports-related trips with tons of gear, I did anyway). Ultimately, I passed as I did not want to make a long-term commitment to him financially, nor did I want him to expend additional money on my behalf to pick up a third car.
The lease on "my" car ends in March, so we will again be faced with my having to look for a car and him having to look for a car, which may end up being (1) a new weekend car that he buys/leases and has me drive primarily, (2) one or two new cars for him with me driving his current primary vehicle, or (3) my own car, separate and apart from him and not giving a shit what he does for a new weekend car.
He cares what kind of car I drive, if it is his car, and he wants it to make sense for me overall, even if it is just my car alone.
Eh, the car thing had nothing to do with it. He made it clear ahead of our break in September that he did not want to penalize me while he was figuring things out about our relationship, etc.

I didn't read that, no offense, although, having said that, I am thinking about getting a Ferrari. Thoughts?

Assuming you had champagne and not sparkling wine, and, that it was of the RM variety, as opposed to NM, why do you need food. Some palatte cleansing crackers should suffice. Also with a 4:1 women:men ratio, who has time for food anyhoos. Indeed.

My friend just bought one and I have been teasing him mercilessly for hours tonight.
Does that make me a bad person?
ETA: I have no problem with "super cars" in general or Ferraris in particular, but they seem ridiculous to have in the US. My friend was telling me (and I am probably getting this wrong) that he has not gotten the car above 1500 rpm in town in the few days since it arrived.
That said, I think no less of him for getting it. He works hard, he wanted it, he bought it. I told him to not be embarrassed about it.

So I can expect teasing from you but eventually you will succumb, so to speak......??!?!?
Also, I am thinking about growing out my JackSparrow beard to something more RickRossish, thoughts?
