Happy family my ass. Can I change my death pool entry to include the dog, the pig, and the piglets?
OR, if if works better for you, we can just add Michael Jackson to the happy family.

and what's with these wacky asian zoo things?
First singapore has green polar bears. Now they have green cable car passengers, who are trying to spend a week in a cable car to win cash money.

Some tourist destination that will be--nothing like the lush tropical aroma of a cable car that's been lived in non-stop for a week.

Courtney Hole arrested (again)
Shocked. Why do people insist on doing the drugs before going on the Letterman show? Or do the producers slip a little something into the ice on the drink cart?
NEW YORK - A few hours after a loopy “Late Show” appearance in which she lifted her shirt to expose her breasts at least six times, rocker Courtney Love was arrested early Thursday for allegedly throwing a microphone stand and striking a man in the head. Love sat down on Letterman’s couch, gestured to her chest and said, “FCC!”
And this is my favorite part...Love said, “Is this like Reagan trickle-down economics? Is this like Bush trickle down?”
Does anyone believe she actually knows what the Reagan economics policy was?

New lingo for people who eat meat, but not much of it. I guess I fall into this category, but I prefer to think of myself as an occasional carnivore.

I confused this with Nader's new political party.

A combination of procrastination, cheesy poofs, and Spike TV lead to deep thoughts.

Christ. I watched that David Spade movie when he steals her dog just for her. Pretty pathetic. The two women that Crazy Mel gets in Braveheart are just phenomenal.

Random question: What is Mel short for, anyway? Melvin? How has it never occurred to me before today that, when seeing Mel Gibson, I am looking at a person named Melvin?
BR(OK, per IMDB his given name is Mel Columcille Gerard Gibson, but I'm not sure that's much better)C

Everyone knows who the final two are. Internet bookies are not allowing bets on them. all bets are on who will be third, i.e. who will win x/ them.

OMG
New reality show starts on Saturday on ABC- called "Bachelor Pad."
Designer takes over and redesigns a bachelor pad - much like Extreme Makeover the home edition - only on a smaller scale - just the insides get redone. This show is doomed to abject failure due to the fact that the designer is none other than Bobby Trendy.
For those of you who have never seen the train wreck which is the Anna Nicole show, Bobby is the over-the-top queen who did the interior for Anna Nicole's house in LA. Think Pink and animal print with lots and lots of maribou. Might be fun to watch since the first bachelor is a pro football player who might end up beating the crap out of Bobby Trendy if there's too much pink in his pad.

That's not a dichotomy.
Marie Antoinette or Eleanor of Aquetaine - THAT's a dichotomy.
Survivor All-Stars or The Apprentice - Mark Burnett dichotomy.
Alomar or Baerga - Early 90s AL 2B dichotomy
Shape Shifter or Coltrane - No contest.

No, you're being an alarmist. Jeff Garcia is moving anyway.

Agreed. She deserved to go, and she knew it. I didn't think her performance last night was impressive, either.
I was surprised, too. Camille or Matt could have easily made that group instead, but I still believe that she is disturbing to watch. The facial expressions - ugh.
By the way, is Matt the new Josh the Marine of this competition? I hate to think he's going to hang around far past what his talent should allow, but I suspect it might happen.
Thankfully, I deliberately avoided most of the continuous commercial bullshit and just caught the final voting because Survivor was on. Anyone still watching besides me? It's been good this year, but Ethan got hosed. I almost thought he'd turn the tables on Jerry, since Shii Ann can't stand her. I did think it was good that Lex was man enough to tell him before the vote though.
|
Lex is insane. Doesn't he know the girls are going to team up on his shit. That said, it sure looks like they're reshuffling the tribes next week. Wonder if they're bringing any folks back into the game while they're at it.

Does that make Paigow a one-person dichotomy then?
Just wondering.
