I thought laser didn't last forever?

And that waxing is what happens immediately prior to lasering. But I'm not as sure about that.

I am, alas, too poor to laser.

If you believe the ads, laser is forever. Waxing does not happen before the laser. I think it's shaving.

Or you can read here.

Back in college, i used to be friends with a CIA trained chef and his lovely live in partner who owned an electrolysis center and made a fortune off that. Whatever happened to that and I wonder if she switched to laser?

I did laser way back when it first came out. It does last forever but you have to have a few treatments because it only lasers off the hair in the follicles that have hair in them - some follicles might not have hair in them at the time of the laser. I did my pits but only went for one treatment. But now the hair is so sparce, a light razor over the area gets rid of it. There's nothing nastier than dragging a razor over stubble in that sensitive area. I'll be doing a pooty laser too but haven't decided on shape yet. Heart. Diamond. Inverted or not. Decisions, decisions!

They name Brit's mystery man

"Britney Spears left her 3-month-old and 2-year-old home again Monday night. Our spies say she was at Whiskey Blue at the W Hotel with hunky model Isaac Cohen, and blogger Perez Hilton says they had a slumber party upstairs. Meanwhile, the L.A. Times reports Brit has purchased a new home in a gated Beverly Hills community for $7.2 million. "

Advice please.

I am planning to take my boyfriend away for his birthday. I will be flying from South Florida. He'll be travelling from upstate New York. I'm thinking one of the first two weekends in February.

I was thinking maybe Vegas or the Bahamas. Any other great ideas?

Paris. (Mainly because I've been kicking around doing a long weekend in Paris sometime in the next month or so.)

I should have been more specific. He's been in London for the past ten days. The last thing he's going to want to do is get back on a long intercontinental flight. Plus, if I'm taking him to Paris, we're going for more than a couple of days, and I can't swing that with the Brazenette at the moment.

Aha. And you're cold adverse, so a skiing weekend is probably out too. Hmmmm...

Are you looking romantic, something to do, places to see that neither one have seen before, a nice hotel that you don't leave until the end of the weekend???

If he's coming from Upstate NY, I'd suggest going farther south. If money is more or less no object, St. Barth's is my all-time favorite island. You can eat the yummy French food (it's part of the Overseas Dept so technically part of Paris) and get the warm sunshine. St. Barth's has perfect weather year-round since it gets virtually no rain.

Here is some helpful advice. Because I care. Before the parenthetical, you had a joke that, albeit frail and on life support, was still alive. Barely. By adding the parenthetical, you buried a railroad spike right into its skull.
