I thought what she posted was funny, once i read the quote you made that forced it onto my computer screen.
My "closest day to quitting law" was one very harried morning where partners were yelling at me, and so were clients, and I had stuff that needed to get done and there was no really good way to do it AND I had to jump out of the office to quickly order flowers sent somewhere. I hurried to the urban professionally atuned florist, and walked in in a hurry, and got hit with CALM. These people were arranging flowers and chatting pleasantly with customers. I thought it would be the perfect job (this was before I knew angry lawyers might sue the florist for wrong colors) and the only unhappiness you would ever see is grief stricken, but even there you're doing something to cheer them up, and their pain or anger wouldn't be directed at you. I almost asked for an application.
but the guy in her story was only a few months out, so he might not realize he is better off. so for those reasons I found her story funny.

I have a feeling that if your bf woke you at 3 in the morning for sex, and then afterwards handed you a giant piece of cake, you would be one happy little fucker. With frosting.

I was listening to some Bruce Sprinsteen today, from his new record. I have never been a fan, due to the saxophones and his overuse of the name "Wendy" in songs.* But I have to admit, some of that record is really amazing.
I may have to buy a few cuts. I was that impressed.
*For reasons I am unable to articulate, the name "Wendy" drives me crazy. Even though I know a Wendy. It drive me almsot as crazy as "Josephine" does. Putting an "ine" on the end of a male name is not a female name. It is wrong.

The Ghost of Tom Joad is phenomenal (and I generally dislike Springsteen) - no Wendys or sax. Harvest-esque.

What bf? Fuck (npi) yeah I would be, but I doubt it would stop me from bitching about the next idiot fuckup employee who calls and wants me to violate the law for him.

This is the type of fan endorsement that artists kill for:
"I was so impressed with part of this album that I am currently considering purchasing some of the songs."

That is what I-Tunes has reduced it to.
