You must have been a longtime favorite, what with your preternaturally youthful looks.

Actually, it is a sad tale of missed opportunity. My birth parents were muslim and my adoptive parents progressive jews. I converted to Catholicism in my twenties after the babyjesus came unto me and I spoketh in tongues. Latin to be exact.
I applied for retroactive altarboy status but was rejected. 4F. In addition to my age I am also nearsighted.

I hate you. And I hate my IT Department for not blocking that website. I haven't figured out which of you I hate more.
ETA: After some deliberation, I've decided I hate my IT department more, but only because it has made the effort to block much more worthwhile websites, such as MySpace.com, and yet it let's this pieceofshit.com completely through. IT, you suck.

The Song Playing in my Head
(another installment in an occasional series)
When I ripped my pants, I thought I had everyone on my side, but then I went and blew it all sky high.
And now they won't give me a passing glance, all because I.. ripped my pants...
When Big Larry came down just to put him down,
Spongebob turned into a clown,
and no girl ever wants to dance, with a fool who went and.. ripped his pants..
I know I shouldn't mope around, I shouldn't curse,
but the pain feels so much worse,
and ending up with no friends is a lot less fun
than a burn from the sun, or sand in your buns!
So let this be a lesson you won't soon forget,
listen and you won't regret,
be true to yourself, don't miss your chance,
and you won't wind up like the fool who ripped his pants!

Wear something that makes it possible to hide a flask or 2. It's a dry county. Also, wear comfortable shoes in case we need to make a quick getaway.

So I guess the white boots from that picture are out. In fact, there are precious few spaces to hide a flask in that getup, so I'm going to have to retool.

Possibly more annoying than shorties with umbrellas
Calling a cab to come to your door, getting in and going two blocks and then having him tell you his tires have no air and would I mind stoppping at the gas station (or would i prefer to possibly get to my meeting on time and possibly cheat death)?

A propos of pants and dads--could someone get Juan Uribe some better-fitting pants? I'm worried he's going to catch a spike at a critical moment.

I liked Ollie's response better, even if this is more accurate.
Come on, you want her to have a warm welcome, don't you?

23?! That's a little young, even for me. But Angelina lips + Manliness = hubbahubba.

Curb
Was it not on last night?
I was behind in my Curbs and just caught last week's where his Dad was playing porno at full volume in the Retirement Community with all the oldsters milling about. I thought this show jumped last season towards the end (and the dread first episode), but it dejumped. has this ever happened?
