THE GAME." news conference is second only to Iverson's "Come on, mannnn. Practice? I mean what we talkin' 'bout here? Practice? PRACtice? [repeat for 15 mins.]"

It's a PRACTICE. Cmon man. It's a practice. A PRACTICE!

Good times.

Incidentally, practice is one of those words that if you look at it long enough, it looks like it's spelled wrong/nonsense.

If JJ/JT aren't available, these guys might be free:

(Norwegian band. Bloody sheeps' heads. 100 liters of blood. 'Nuff said.)
Um, they actually booked a Norwegian Black Metal Band named GORGOROTH to be on television?

And you wonder why there are all those Polish jokes

Janet Jackson's right breast

Dead horse. Old news. However, Spike Lee says that Jackson's stunt was a "new low." Takes one to know one.

a new low, even for Spike

In other news, I recently read in SI that 2 of the officiating crew at the Super Duper Bowl are attorneys.
Is this common? Attorneys as referees?

I don't remember anywhere as much controvery about Lil' Kim. Is it because there was no question Kim was exposing on purpose, or is it because the visual was much more pleasant?

Interesting. What makes attorneys especially qualified to be refs, and should I try out next year?

At least he doesn't try coaching. Can you imagine that critical fuck in a huddle "You aren't doing anything, are you tired- or bored? And you, you play like you've not learn fundamental rule #1. Real pretty dance after the dunk- but you forgot about defensive positioning. I'd pull you and put him in, but he doesn't have a complete game."
Then, post-game interview he'd criticize himself as not being as smart a coach as Wooden or Heinson.

I have that problem with other words you use.

You asked if it was common. They are not especially qualifed, nor are the bulk attorneys.

You should absolutely try out next year and then post here and let us know how it goes.

There was controversy. But it was more about the fact that Diana Ross touched it/bounced it, than the fact that a stripper wore nothing but a pastie on her right breast.
Maybe it's because Janet's not a stripper.

Or because the Super Duper Bowl is a "family show" whatever the hell that means. CBS needs to get over it.

Lots of free time, an absolute belief in your own infallibility, and great arcana retention skills. Go for it.

*sigh* I used to love Heinson's commentary. I think he retired in disgust when Walton first picked up a mic.
