 | First, I am glad paparazzi's chase these people around and torture them.

Second, it's idiots like the morons on this board who watch reality TV and care about celebrities that provide the demand for these pics. You have no one to blame but yourself.

Stein is amazingly pompous in person; I have had occasion to meet him. He conveys the impression that he is very, very pleased with himself at all times. I wish I were one-tenth as pleased with myself as he is with Ben Stein.
(DTB - I think you and I are fellow travelers on the Perfectionism Express, so, because I would want to someone to correct me: you mean "shilling," not "schilling" (former Austrian currency).)

They were pictured in the Vanity Fair Olympics spread, and I think the text said something about this being their second Olympics as a couple. If Ian Thorpe was ever in the picture, it was when they were both teenagers, and before the Sydney Olympics.

 | I thought it was Yiddish (and therefore I could fudge a little on the spelling, as it's "phonetic" when you write Yiddish with non-Hebrew letters.) But I thank you.

I picked up my son from a play date the other night, and on the shelf at the other boy's house was the game "Perfection" -- which immediately sent me back to the post exchange about that particular childhood game. Good times. |

I had to go to a local NYC news website to find this: HereMeanwhile, two other people were arrested after hanging a large anti-Bush banner on the Plaza Hotel. The men apparently rented a room, climbed out the window and rappelled down the side of the building to hang the sign, which showed arrows with the words “truth” and “Bush” pointing in opposite directions.
Crews have since take it down.

There is no word yet on what the men will be charged with. The pair says they are not planning any other protests during the convention.
  is where I got the low-down. |

I still miss the "Puppet" signs that were posted over all the street signs for Bush Street here after the election. (The protesters thoughtfully included "(Bush)" in a small font at the bottom of the sign, so the tourists didn't get too lost.)

 | Anybody else find it interesting that the media, including the Chicago Sun-Times which ran a story yesterday, are going out of their way to NOT mention the identity of the recipient of this message but still quote the person? Obviously they know who to contact, but there's no indication that the person is quoted on condition of anonymity. Just wondering. |

 | Typical left-wing media bias crap. If Bush had been the recipient you damn well know we would have heard about how his behavior precipated the voicemail and that poor little Ankur was really the victim and that at a pre-closing meeting Bush had made Ankur wear McShane's panties on his head and greco-roman wrestle with each other on the conference room table.

I blame the Clintons.
