Watch Out, mmmmmmmmm
Alright, I'm not sure I remember correctly who was happy/proud to discuss the use of a neighbor's wifi signal instead of purchasing his own (I'm thinking mmmmm, but it could have been Coltrane?), but they are now starting to prosecute. Heads up!

Str8's brother is out there taking risks and innovating and he doesn't want to turn away revenue. He also knows that dealing with crazy parents is like trying to get rid of moles. Wack one, another one pops up in another hole.
I used to manage a business that involved playing nice with the crazy parents who spent a lot of money so their Hunters and Taylors could achieve some dream, and believe me, sending one away with a refund feels really, really good, but the relief only lasts until you get the next wack-ass call demanding to speak to the person in charge, and by the way, "My husband is a lawyer!"

I can't believe those bastards who are concerned with long-term financial security, given what has happened today.
OTOH, I think I will start posting about how many people died of horrific preventable diseases on a daily basis, and then bitching at people callous enough to discuss anything else. Well, only if I find whatever they are posting about non-interesting.

You have not truly experienced wackjobs until you deal with retired people with too much time on their hands complaining to everyone and their brother, in writing, on multiple occasions, because a co-pay got changed. Yeah, the CEO is going to read that letter.

I wouldn't send anyone over to politics. Ever. I was suggesting that asking someone over here to not give someone else shit about grammar or to make jokes (especially when it wasn't even about what actually happened in London today) because it isn't the time, is ridiculous.

It's not odd. I don't think people are exactly coming over here for information on family members or the news generally. People are coming over here for a distraction. Sometimes one of us needs a kind word (like those given to gwnc and whoever else today), but expecting dtb to avoid a grammar joke because people were posting about family members is pointless.

I'll give you that one.

Bingo bango bongo. More of his day is spent talking to families than running operations. Good times. On the plus side, little Evan's going to have a very rich uncle.

Oh, c'mon -- it's not like I lectured her, or said "you shouldn't be saying something like that." I sarcastically said that it was good to see the grammar timmies retaining their ability to focus on what really matters in the context of a discussion about the attacks -- big fucking deal. If people can't take a little sniping back, they shouldn't snipe.
(And I think dtb can take it just fine -- don't know why you feel the need to rise up for her.)

Well, thank god for Thurgreed. I thought it was odd, but happily someone is here to point out that, as an objective matter, it was not. Next time I think something is odd, I'll check with you first to get the correct view.
Or to find out who is on your protected-poster list so I don't snipe at them.

I wasn't rising up for her. I was giving you shit for posting the typical "you should be ashamed of yourself for doing anything but expressing your deepest sadness when discussing anything that touches a tragic event" bullshit post. If you can't take it when you're being called on it when you're being condescending, don't be condescending.

This could be the dumbest thing you've ever posted. You write about what should and shouldn't be posted during this horrible, horrible time. I disagree. You go off on how I am the authority you need to check with before posting something. At least you have balls.
