But I see you failed to mention the bullshit call on Wade when he legally boxed out Howard (I think) under the basket when the shot was up -- loose ball foul, my ass. And then the travelling call when neither Heat player had possession? Those gifts were given during the last 90 seconds of the game and Dallas still couldn't win.

Face it. Wade spanked that ass. Although, the keys to that game were Posey and Haslem. They haven't been hitting those wide open shots for most of the series. Once they started, Dallas had no chance. Also (and God do I hate saying this), without Mourning's inside defensive presence, the Heat lose.

Nowitski (despite good numbers) and Johnson were disappointing. Nowitski disappeared in the fourth (and that includes attempting to pass off to Dampier (what?) during one of the last possessions. Avery Johnson doesn't have a go-to play to get Nowitski a decent look come game time? Ridiculous.

Avery Johnson both over- and under-coached. He under-coached in that he didn't understand that you let Wade go off for 50 during the first three quarters and then send everyone at him in the last ten minutes and make the guys who've been watching him shoot all game hit the game winners. Also, you have to get Dirk involved at the end of the game. Rent Hoosiers and figure out the picket fucking fence, but the way he used him in the fourth was inexcusable.

He over-coached in that the zone he implemented was responsible for Miami's drought in the fourth (yesterday and Game 5) was yanked in favor of the man-to-man that Wade tore the fuck up during the final few minutes of the game. Different looks that deep into the series to create confusion? I don't think so. And if you're going to do that, do it the opposite way since the Heat looked confused and forced up bad jumpers whenever the zone was on. Stupid.

For all of everyone's talk of Dallas' talent (and they are a very very good team), they are still basically a jump-shooting team. And in the playoffs, you live and die with the jump shot.

Next year: If Miami doesn't sign a point guard, they're not going past the second round of the playoffs. Williams and Payton suck.

Stuart Scott can suck it. But that's not news.

TM
I have nothing to ass. Dallas sucked. Dirk can go home and cry himself to sleep on his giant pillah.

It took us until about Game 4 to realize that we could get the ABC HD channel, and we were pretty excited until we realized that watching in HD means you can see every single one of Pat Riley's wrinkles.
And the bad hair dye. Basketball season goes too long. It's practically July for crying out loud. At least, this guy has to go home. Could he look like a bigger dork?

Brit and KFed went on vacation in Florida — but they reportedly stayed in separate rooms. Spears and K-Fed spent a whopping $250,000 for a getaway on Aqua Island, according to the upcoming issue of In Touch Weekly, which reports that except for a very public romp on the beach with their 10-month-old son, the two steered pretty clear of each other. In fact, Spears rented two houses so they didn’t have to stay together.

“She did it to get away from Kevin,” a “friend” told the mag. Federline jet skied in South Beach by himself and in the evening, appeared at the club Mansion, where he had a scheduled appearance. Spears didn’t attend, but K-Fed partied with eight friends, drank Cristal champagne, and danced until 3:30 a.m., according to the mag.

Apparently he hasn't gotten the memo from Jay-Z that Cristal is so over.

He was able to accomplish what I could not. He married way out of his league and is living the life I would live (except for that crap he calls music) if I had that kind of $. And I'm not fascinated by him, it's just that he's everywhere - he's hard to miss. Like picture of Tom Cruise. You can't avoid them.

And in a haze of sleep deprivation, I posted on the Politics board yesterday. What the hell was I doing over there?

Reposting the video of a kid dancing to Gnarls Barkley.

Considering the eye related questions submitted this week, we thought you’d enjoy seeing our favorite new vision care product: Pierced Eye Glasses! That’s right, these glasses (designed by James Sooy) mount directly on the bridge of your nose, through a piercing. On one hand, this could be a good option if you really, really, really have trouble remembering where you put your glasses. On the other hand, we believe that the words “pierced” and “eye” should never be used to describe the same product. Ouch!
OK, I've seen some really bizarre piercings, but this one, while functional, is too much.

Just the music, then?

I have to admit I am not all that up on the kind of life that he's living, but does it have any redeeming value whatsoever? Other than to give us something to chat about, that is.

Somebody needs to tell them that their careers have insufficient legs to support this kind of continued spending.

Speaking of redeeming value, what are you up to? Alcohol and anon chat boards? You know, I am getting ready to give up some bone marrow.

Get over it already. Most guys have no realistic expectation that they'll find a woman who will support them.

(Insert gratuitous ncs' ex joke here).

You should live in New York. We are considering tax breaks for organ donors who might lack that extra bit of motivation. Can you change your residency before you donate?

Wouldn't risk it. with the year I'm having (cha-ching!) I'd be tempted to have them pull a kidney while they had me out.

Wonk, since it was just fortune of birth that some of us are born with two functioning kidneys, or marrow or whatever, isn't it stealing from the poorly-organed to give me a tax break?

And miss the train wreck? What kind of person are you?

And it's career, singular. Unless you count gigolo as a job.
