I saw a thing about GPS running watches and there are some now for around $50. The Garmin's are still hundreds. Do you know if we'd lose anything with the cheaper ones?

I don't know what the cheaper ones do.
I have the Garmin 610. I bought it last year before I went to Madrid. I love it. I mean I LOVE IT. So much more than the 305 I used to have.
It has three screens. The first is the date and time. The second is mileage, time, and current mile pace. I have the third set up as a virtual race partner so I can see where I am in relation to my goal pace. It has all kind of alerts, like run/walk, hydration, nutrition, etc. I only use the run/walk.
They're on sale all over the place right now and can be had for as little as $299.
Garmin is also making a watch called the 10, which is a low price point (like $100). I don't know much about it though.
If all you want is mileage and time, I think you can do that with an iPhone app.

Central Massachusetts, classic diner, circa 1960s: the Miss Worcester, which, by the way is also good travel advice. I have no idea if it still exists.

I disagree with this more strongly than with anything else you've ever said.
I truly thought you had exhausted my capacity to feel that way.

What would Manon Rheaume say?
Not Bob would like to discuss the goaltending of Patrick Roy with the girl in the Habs sweater in this video. And tell her that he thought, hat or no hat, that she had nice hair.

I have one or two now and again. I never got seriously hooked, but I can see how the addiction to those could be stronger than anything else. The minute I have one, I'd like to have five or six.
...Then I remember what the next day feels like when you're not used to smoking and smoke a whole bunch. Recalling that pain checks the appetite for more quickly.

The one I miss is unprotected sex with random sluts in random public places.

I don't know who that guy is, but he bears an uncanny resemblance to the bald version of my eldest brother-in-law.
